- Didn't crush'em this week but I think I figured out what I'm doing next week. Sometimes not catching many is just as important as catching a ton.

Nice to see you back posting. I’ve been on the same type of run. I’ve been picking up 2 to 3 fish each weekend. I caught 2 last Friday way back in a spawning cove in 4’ of water. They’re definitely starting to move up. The water is going to start to rise this week and hopefully they will let the lake come up to about 440’ elevation. I know they keep it at a certain level until the snow melt starts. At the 440 elevation you have a ton of trees and brush in the lake. I also notice the fish always bite better here when the lake is rising.
Thanks man, it was rough not being able to get out fishin. I'm hoping to head out again tomorrow and beat the afternoon storm lookin for some shallow bass. I'm just hoping the water isn't to chocolatey cause I suck at fishin in 0-1ft of water clarity. lol. Thanks for the info too.

@@jaysaberondood last year I had about 5-6lb’er straighten out a hook on a Jaw Dropper and I got sick to my stomach and went home. Lmfao. I couldn’t imagine losing a DD, I’d cry.😢

Oh dang thats a rough day. Where did you try? For sure man, right now my days off are Tuesday/Wednesday but will be changing to Sunday/Monday off soon.
Was out there last Friday (2/9) and my dad and I caught 3 fish all day dragging Keithechs. First two were in deeper water by browns ravine the third was a better one in probably 15ish feet. Tough out there but I think it’s gonna be getting better soon. Tight lines man🫶
Thanks for info! 🙏 This coming week I think im gonna try pounding the bank a lot focusing on pre-spawn staging areas and see if I can find’em. Sucks you guys struggled too but good to know its not just me. 👍
