Don't even click on STOP from bizarre or spam texts. Block and delete. I now ONLY go online to my banks by an old laptop computer that I only use just for signing on to the banks and no other purpose. I do no banking on my phone.
Yep, don't reply in any way to texts or emails. Don't click on anything. Don't even click on unsubscribe because it most likely won't unsubscribe you, it'll tell them you're an active account. Just delete them all day long. Blocking is basically useless since they will just use another random number or address next time.
I don't even click on links from emails from banks. Always go directly to their website. If you get a call from your bank, before giving any personal info, tell them you'll hang up and call them back at a number you Googled.
@Iheartcatz it's amazing how our system is set up to allow criminals to get away with crimes. And for the victims to never get justice. And no one wants to listen to me when I say we're already in hell. HA!!! Nothing can be worse than where we are.
@@stephanierichardson3041 -Aint that the truth. These scammers got my sons savings with that phone call trick. They spoofed chime banks phone # and he fell for it.

Please don't!!! Scammers have found a way to link up your banks number on Google!!! Crazy stuff
Don't google the bank number because you may still end up with a scammer's number, call the number on the back of your credit or debit card.
@@Omar_Zazzle- Right!
the bank should refund the money. how's this different from a third party hacking into your bank account? these banks are thieves
What about banks being FDIC insured?
because she authorized the transfer, it wont cover it

I don't bank online.
It's not online banking that is the problem, it is giving your personal information to a scammer who claims to be from your bank.
Pretty simple and obvious scam. There is a phone number on the back of my keycard. The bank tells to call that number and that number only.
You can still get spoofed bud
🤣🤣🤣🤣
If there was a faulty wire transfer I would have checked my account!
Always call your bank first
Most banks won't just text outta the blue
