- I've just moved from London to Bali and I'm starting my new life alone in Ubud. 🌴 I spent the first few days detoxing from my past London life, but it'll take me longer than expected to heal after the stress of the big city. Great that you have learned at a young age, before too much long term damage is accumulated, that over work and the constant pressure of a big city is toxic to your body and destructive to your creative mind.
I have found that yoga and meditation, which I have done regularly twice daily for over 1/2 a century now, have allowed me to age more slowly and grow more quickly.
Even though I am now more resilient to environmental stress I prefer to avoid living in big cities. I still like to be fairly close by because of the economic opportunities but far enough outside the city that I am not run down it.
A beautiful stress free satellite community is a wonderful place from which to orbit a bustling metropolis.
Heal, enjoy, evolve. You deserve it. And keep sharing your journey. It is important work. 🙏

It's amazing to see all these Westerners discovering Bali in 2024. I was lucky enough to grow up in Jakarta back in the 80s. Expat kid. Bali was a GEM in 1988 - 1994. Ubud was a jungle back then. Kuta was a village. Crazy how Bali has grown up as time moves on. Wonderful memories.

Enjoy Bali, I love the country & its people. So many people only see the south of the island but the interior & north still retains the Balinese lifestyle

Funny I’ve been living in Bali for the last 3 weeks, staying for 2 months. I’m a walker too and found it very hard to walk in Bali 😭 other than that I absolutely love the life here and I can relate 100%, I’m leaving Europe Bali is the place to be healthy, happy and creative !!! Take care ☺️
Healthy? They routinely burn plastic to dispose of it, studies of Balinese children show high levels of toxic chemicals in their blood. They pump raw sewerage into the ocean Plastic rubbish everywhere and food and hygiene standards do not exist. Take care.
Enjoy your new life in ubud. That is where my journey in Bali began five years ago. I’m married and have a daughter and I business since. This place can be magical. Best of luck!

We used to subscribe to your channel but had to stop because the pace of your life left us breathless, we felt too much your struggle to survive in that maelstrom of humanity. But checking back with you now gives us a sense of peace and with it, introspection. We too are trying to make sense out of the stupidity and calamitous world around us - the noise, the smell of pollution, the news - it's taking years off our lives. Bali is impossible for us now and we wish you all the peace and beauty Bali provides to free your creative mind.

It’s so heart melting to see you staying in the very same airbnbs and in my beloved richfields, seeing the beluna and other places I stayed at exactly year ago! A new place which I’ve become actually obsessed with is Pizza Cult in Ubud. Amazing food, great service, such a cute venue and really affordable. Also a great place to bring your laptop and work from!
