IIRC, initially Pano hides with Jack's mother at the family's farm for her own safety after her father and brother are killed (they are somehow resurrected later) when King goes on a murder spree and just starts killing Chess Pieces, and after everything is said and done she ultimately marries Jack.
Okay the rule about why Pano can fight again is true... But then why isn't that applying to Mär ? If Jack or Nanashi looses they can still fight on the next round (I'm guessing it's just because of the number difference).

um, i read the manga like years ago so i dont remember most of the details. Can someone explain why the wolves are helping out jack's mom at the farm now
Pretty sure they best them before the competition started when they first met Jack and they started helping her as repayment afterwards if I remember correctly

@@JoseMendoza-JAM The werewolves were killed in the manga. The anime fleshes out the story a bit. So instead of them being killed, they learned their lesson and help out with the farm while Jack's away.
....I would like to note that Pano does actually end up marrying Jack in the end, and even has children with him.
