hi techne, i would like to ask do you have issues with your buds' audio like having distorted audio/ crackling sound when using especially if i increased the bass to the max ( had to do so to listen better to footsteps)

Will you review the JBL quantum tws? Those two buds are probably the only gaming earbuds with actual 2.4ghz low latency.
I use IEMs for my loooong gaming sessions (due to head tension from headsets) and headphones/sets for shorter gaming sessions.
I can't main ear buds for long sessions
Hey @TheTechne, 1 year after this review... is there any relevant updates? Does it still works as it did back then? Does the firmware update problem was fixed? Does the battery is still holding up the 10 hours +33h with the case? Was the EQ software updated to be a little bit more customizable?
I´m so damn happy with my Sony TW In Ears i don´t really want to change them cause of gaming. Especially not for 150+ Bucks. But good to see that another company is using a 2,4 dongle for gaming TWBs. So i will stick to my Sony Headphones for PC and the In Ears for on the go :D

I always preferred earbuds over headsets I think this is the new wave of audio that should come out of companies over headsets being revision every year .

When I am playing warzone. The mic does not detect.. does this happen to you as well? Also There is a cracking sound when I am playing.
Great video Techne! Greetings from Greece! Personally, I've tried headsets (hyperx-razer-logitech-steelseries) and earbuds (huawei-hyperx) and now I'm back to speakers. Everything is uncomfortable in my head after 1 hour

@@TheTechne Yes I wear glasses. I don't know. Everything I wear in my head is uncomfortable so for now I'm scared to invest in new headsets and I will stay with the speakers. And I'll be watching your videos for keyboards and mice!
Would have bought them if you could use Bluetooth and 2.4. All headsets should allow this especially with crossplay now. In game chat on Battlefield 2042 is so bad so I would love to use Bluetooth and the PlayStation app to chat with my friends while I game on pc.

you should try IEMs fr. I have the blessing 2 and they feel amazing. I have tried the gpx wireless and the cloud 2 and they aren't even close IMO
What's your take on sparks? I'm still considering buying one because I want to hear more balance and a natural sound signature (especially for music) not for gaming

I have tested a few, but man I just can't game for long sessions with them, buds like this are so light weight , no wires, I barely noticed them
You should definitely try the JBL Quantum TWS earbuds! They not only have a USB-C dongle but they sound so much better than these, and even have sub-bass! Loving the content, much love from a long time supporter!
I wanted the quantum but I went and decided to get this ones since they been on the game longer I had the razer barracuda but over the ear they hurt and those are the only ones on razers with the USB c. Dongle

@@afrokidd214 Get the Quantum! lol you can make them a little louder from the customization app and if you play on your PC, there’s even more customization. Hyper X isn’t worth it
No one considered the heat that created by the batteries while using wireless earbuds for gaming. Do you think it will effect in long gaming sessions ?

I’ve never really liked earbuds because they always fall out of my ears. But I may eventually pick up some
Earbuds are notorious for this. Earpods and airpods were the worst offenders.
The thing is, this style with a silicon tip is actually an earphone (or IEM). They stay in your ears much better than the conventional “earbud” style.
I'm taking all the good things I had to say about this product.... I still am facing a lot of issues here. The 1st pair I got had issues updating the firmware so I went back to the store where I got it from and got a replacement. 1 week after getting the replacement, here I am having issues with the right earbud having no sound at all. The touch functions are working on the right pair but no sound just would come out of it regardless if it was on desktop, using 2.4ghz or Bluetooth. THIS PRODUCT IS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

I have problems with the 2.4Ghz connection sound, for low volume sound is very bad On bluetooth the sound is good but high latency for games. Does anyone ales has this problem. Also I can't updated their firmware from the windows app...

Man I'm only who is not messin with eq cause sound is becoming in a way broken i want to hear quality out of a box, as audio consumer it will be dark, bassy, V shape but of course without going too far with this

you don't even mention that you can swtich from BT to 2,4ghz connection by pressing the button on the dongle for 6 seconds. and what about battery life?? so important and not even mentioned

I got this since it came out from Amazon and I was curious why nobody has reviewed this in ear. The sound quality is phenomenal however the comfort is meh.
man its crazy, I have been seeing so many not like the comfort, man they fit me perfect.

@@Pandemonium088 do you have any problems with like weird crackling sound when the ngenueity app is downloaded or like when the earbuds run without the app and during fps games, the directional audio sounded kinda off or there's still crackling sound ( fps game is valorant)

NO, I would say DONT GET IT! I had to get it replaced 3 times because one of buds keep dying... the right bud specifically... no sound coming out at all but th the touch controls work. Its soooo frustrating and all HyperX support had to say is "you dont have luck with cloud mix buds" and move to another brand! WOW!!!

God please no. If you are reading this DONT BUY EARBUDS MADE BY GAMING COMPANIES. their headsets are shit, their earbuds are shit. Apple, Samsung, Sony, LG, Google... they all make great earbuds. Buy from them.

The fit on these is horrible. They just fall out your ears even when sitting still on the couch.

@@TheTechne I was really surprised when you said that 😀 I wish they stuck with the original tips like on the wired version. I still use those and love them. They just sit there but never fall out.
I dont get why you "recommend them", these are trash for any price point. They keep disconnecting/reconnecting. Not comfortable. Audio quality is bad.
this earbuds have really bad review from people, so i don't know how this earbuds are good, whatever i try to read about them from normal people, not youtubers, all says are really bad, sound, connections and confort on long gaming!
