Excellent helpful video - thanks. I just flew the air 3 for the first time today, coming from the m air 2, and was so disappointed in the footage - clearly some settings I'd never had access to prior make all the difference - subscribed!
Great video for a newbie like myself - one thing i'd like to clarify is; are these settings you suggest the base settings and from there add an ND filter to suit conditions?
Thank You!! extremly well done, easy to understand and very educating. You got a new subscriber and i will pickup the air 3 and upgrade my old mini 2.was looking at the M3P first but for real estate work this air3 will fit the bill 👍🙏🇸🇪
This video is extremely helpful. Thank you. Direct, very informative, and excellent presentation. QUESTION: Do you have a video, or can you help, to explain which density filter to use, when? May sound obvious, but considering the open aperture of the DJI Air 3, should I just use one filter, and leave it on, or should I change on the light conditions. I live in SE Arizona, where it seems the sun is ALWAYS shining, and the "friendliest" lighting is early morning and the evening... Also, planning a hyperlapse shot for the moon, and I'm curious about those settings... I subscribed immediately and plan on enrolling in ALL your courses. Great presentations.
Fantastic and very helpful video, you really nailed it. Quick question, which software do you use to edit your videos? I've been using caput to crop videos into the timeline and add music, titles etc but I would like to get into the color grading part which caput lacks.
Hello thx for the video, but now my question...When I move the DJI Rc Motion 3 controller with my hand, the Gimbal also moves. Can i Block it that the Gimbal stays in one position
Thank you for the video, very helpful. You mention we shouldn't use HLG color profile until DJI fixes the bug with adjusting the contrast and brightness of parts of the image - is there anywhere we can follow the progress of fixing this bug? Is it a software or hardware issue?
Yep, basically all of the same setting apply to the Mavic 3 Pro as well! The only major difference is that you also have the ability to adjust the exposure using the adjustable aperture. 👍
I have a question...Trying to always be prepared, I started IMU calibration on my DJI Air 3. I did it according to directions, but it's been stuck at 95% done for quite some time and it reads as "unable to take off." How do I get out of it? Or, can I expect it to be over soon?
Great video as usual. I do have a mystery question though? I have purchased an Air 3 but was disappointed to find that I don't have the option to change cameras by the use of the C2 button on my RC2. I rang DJI and they told me it wasn't possible ATM unless there will be a firm where update in the future? Any ideas?
I don’t think it’s a bug. They have auto settings around highlights and shadows to boost dynamic range in auto mode. Kind of like what an iPhone does. They do this in the osmo action 4 as well. Usually it’s not noticeable, and usually makes the footage look great, but shoot d log m and download their lut from their website if you’re concerned.
i bout my rc 2 controller 1 month ago when i charge my rc 2 100% and store i open it after 4 hour later its battery decrease 93% plz tell me its normal or not
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and inspiring me to purchase the DJI Air 3 with your dedication and hard work.

Davinci Resolve! I’ve got several color grading videos here on the channel that would be helpful to you.
Very nice video 🔥🔥
Thanks!
At 3:24 why do you recommend 24fps specifically if you're in Europe? That's the only bit I didn't follow.
Excellent video ♥ Thanks
Thanks! Glad it was helpful.
Watching from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
How to reduce in camera sharpening?
Nice explained, you are really good!

I don't think DJI has fixed it, but I still use HLG quite a bit
What app do you recommend for post editing?
Did they change the bug already with the brightness in the HLG profile?
Nice 👍
Thank You Good lessons here. Does the drone have an option to have in camera slow motion like on my GH6 or does it need to be done in post. ??
Yep it's in camera for the 100fps mode! 60fps is real time.
good morning,
can you apply the same settings to the mavic 3 pro?
Yep, basically all of the same setting apply to the Mavic 3 Pro as well! The only major difference is that you also have the ability to adjust the exposure using the adjustable aperture. 👍

It works fine now.
Has the issue with contrast on the center of the frame been fixed since this video's been released?
Any news?
Does anyone know if DJI have fixed the contrast/brightness changing bug when filming in HLG?

Never tried that! What percentage is it after storing for 12 or 24 hours?
❤❤❤❤❤
👍👍
Thanks!
