So for some reason, you can place items closer to redzones in Free Movement compared to Constrained. All my flooring turns red when I select it in constrained movement, but in free movement I can just barely place it there. Just Warframe’s spaghetti code I guess. Also make sure your Warframe and pet are not in the way, as they generate redzones around them. For the flooring, mine is placed slightly above the real floor to avoid the redzone, so my rooms are actually smaller that the base orbiter.
@@tsalih9876 Yeah i noticed the pet will get in the way. Ultimately i don't have the patience for stuff like this i wish DE just remove collisions altogether in all but the most curtail areas. If we mess up a cutscene or block a way to something quest related, that's our fault
Sometimes it bugs out too (at least on the Orbiter) and you get redzones for no reason. I've found that loading in and out of a mission, going to the Drifter camp, or just restarting the game helps fix this.
@@CelestialDraconisyeah, looks like I’m gonna have to do a dedicated redzones video to clear all this up, I’d have to also make a comprehensive list of where all of them are
Use R and make your mod on "Local" and try to turn it on side to move it back (The opposite direction of the arrow) hope this help and if did work try without use R and just but it only place it both way work on different places
I do wish DE would remove collision entirely when placing decorations. If they are concerned with people losing objects, a select-able list of all placed decorations would allow you to find and grab something lost, without needing to reset the entire room. Everyone who is into decoration ( whether in their house or Dojo ) is already clipping stuff through walls anyway.
2:53 You can actually no clip outside of the map in Drifter's camp and base of operations, and it fully works to get back your items. Also Drifter's camp has no red zones outside of the borders, so you can get items there. I have two eidolons beating the shit out of eachother in a stone that's in the river lol
This is something I learned a year ago, took a while to get used to but the more you do it, the more you understand how to push and pull things to make the collisions work. Glad to see an updated video, I found once you start to get into decorating, the harder it is to get out. "I'll just make a floor... oh... I should make walls... Now I need to put stuff in this foundation I made." I need help....
If you clip something out of the backroom, there is a way to get out of bounds. You clip through the ceiling in the mall, at the backroom entrance. (Push head into ceiling, spam transference and jump) Then load into backroom and you will be above it. For anyone who gets something stuck or just wants to build out of bounds
I noticed that around the foundary area there is a blk spot where if you place an item you can no longer click on tht item to move it or remove it. Place items in that area with caution
Is there a new Redzone around the codex table in the front of the Orbiter? I keep trying to place a Zariman table around it like in one of your videos but keep getting Redzoned.
There isn’t a redzone under the codex table like the market one, but there are redzones behind every wall and floor in the orbiter, your table is probably touching one of those. Also make sure there aren’t any interactable decorations there such as the kinepage, as they generate their own redzones
I don't understand how to select the object again to rotate it back after it's clipped in to an object without it resetting it's position. All snapping is turned off.
Great video, I have a question though. Sometimes when clipping things into walls/floor it gets canceled with a pop up saying I dont have enough capacity. Do you know what triggers it? Hasnt inconvenienced me much so far but it would be nice to know.
The game considers the area outside the room boundaries to be a separate ‘room’ with 0 capacity. This isn’t the case in the drifter camp room, where you can place items in the skybox, I’ll show how to do this in a future vid!
That’s just not true, some of the best decorators I know are on Xbox. As for the items, most decoration vendors have rotating inventories, so you need to check them regularly to see all of what they offer
Still dont get how you make the floor, if you try to move any floor panel even a millimeter into the floor it goes red or won't move at all

Took me a second to realize house meant backroom, so the thought of someone breaking into a wall just to have a dresser fit right was very amusing.

I actually lose an bobble head guy I have no idea where it went
Having previously built a lot in fo4. Where every good build require clipping. I look forward to decorate my orbiter now.
best explanation of this anywhere, just started building my dojo with some friends about a week back and needed this right now

Entirely genuine here
Do you take commissions? Cause like I feel like people would pay for this
Hell I would if I had the decorations required
question, the green walls you use in your main room, what is that? i love the look and great vid really helped
All wide green pots from Acrithis
@@tsalih9876 ok thank you!
how long did it take to make your orbiter, including the time it took to gather all the materials?
Around 2-3 months, the main factor is how much stuff you need from Hombask, as you’re limited by daily standing cap

You can rotate while still in constrained movement, only press confirm once the item is in the position and rotation you want

What controller method are you using? Is it a steering wheel from a racing game?
Gotta get some GameCube Donkey Kong bongos for the ultimate decorating experience 😂
