Like, actually though, I think it's quite problematic. Yeah, she's an antihero who helps people now, but she still uses the same personality and attire that the Joker gave her. It's genuinely disturbing to me. Harley Quinn is a persona designed to please the Joker, I hate the idea that she would casually use it after surviving him. What if she were an assistant to Batman in Arkham now, someone who offers information to Batman, or someone who tries to help inmates reform with a new sense of invigoration? A doctor at Arkham Asylum isn't as marketable, I get it, but that's a problem with the comics industry.

They killed her off at the time because Suicide Squad (The Ayer one) was coming out and at the time they didn’t want the same version of the character in both tv and movie at the same time. Yea and there's just something very off about the facial movements/expressions and the body movement and mannerisms. This scene plays out as if it were someone's weird head-canon fantasy.
Right? They went for realism and came out the other end. This isn't even uncanny valley, it's just ugly.
And like someone else said, everything feels off. There's so much attention to textures and lighting, which doesn't look good, but the rest is awkward as hell.
