It just isn't the same without the Rolling Stones "Start Me Up" theme song that they used for Windows 95 (with the part about "you make a grown man cry" conveniently omitted)!
Right I agree that it isn’t the same like Windows 95 commercial campaign, but it still better than nowadays Windows commercials. I really hate Windows 10, for it’s instability. I don’t like Microsoft’s idea for Windows, because Windows became the construction site and now I have Mac as my main PC instead Windows PC (of course I must use Windows for example to play some games, but that’s the only thing, why I own another computer). Windows 7 was the last OS what was useful. No dumb ads, no updates that was doing something wrong with your PC etc. I think Windows was great since Windows 95 era until XP or 7.
Interesting to see how far the Windows commercials have became, from this kind of ads to the simpler ones.
Strange? That's just the 90's.
This is a pre-film bumper advertisement from "The Negotiator".
That was the best Windows OS ever. I don't care what anyone says... IT WAS THE BEST!
Windows 7 Professional would kick it's ass.
It Still BSOD
Win 98 was DOS based and very unstable. Microsoft was smart to kill-off DOS Windows and make Windows NT a home release (aka XP).
@@electrictroy2010 it wasnt really unstable so much, and compatibility with DOS software was a big profit.
This is so late 90's I bought 5000 shares in Enron.
This was from the Lethal Weapon 4 VHS.

I remember Windows 95. I miss Windows xp.
Sounds greater than that bloody ludwig boogie-woogie
Brian Kelley has a copy of Windows 98 at his house in League City.
Have you seen The People"s Court?
Just put some vaporwave over this and you got quite the video.

Me
They failed to show the blue screen you'd get a few times a year!
The last Windows 9x. Windows ME for me doesn't count.
"Works better. Plays better."
Such a lackluster slogan, Microsoft. You can do better than that!
Appleboy78165 that was probably just describing windows 98 at the time. The actual Microsoft slogan was “Where do you want to go today?”
Yeah
Where do you want to go….. was only run 1994-96. It had been retired when Win98 was released.
Awantura o Windowsa.
A wild PeCeT_full appeared :)
