i’ve have always said this, very much agree man. joanna use to move forward and apply an insane amount of pressure and use to strike continuously, she use to be a savage.

Nah. Her competition during this time was much weaker than when she went to ATT. Easy to be aggressive and tee off on Penne and Esparza compared to Rose and Andrade. This type of approach would not have worked on higher level fighters
@@tippyperez Jedrzejczyk STARCHED Andrade. Possibly her best performance. She also managed to out strike Rose in all FIVE rounds of their second fight (which she should’ve won imo). However, her relentless style changed completely after her last fight with Gadelha after signing with ATT. They changed her from a pressure striker to a pure technical striker.

People below wondering if this video is sped up. If it was then both JJ and JP would be moving faster. Also the ringside announcers would sound funny. Joanna was just moving at a frantic speed back in those days. She intentionally slowed down in her later fights.

Independentemente de ser uma lutadora debochada, era excelente ver o show da Joanna, muito técnica e avassaladora. Por isso, sou de opinião de que, se já não está, ela deveria estar no Hall da Fama do UFC.

This fight took place JUNE 20, 2015. Since then JESSICA PENNE has only fought twice and lost both fights. Her Wikipedia bio has her listed as being recently RETIRED. The USADA has a four year ban on her for two failed tests and if they hold true then JP would be 40 years old if she does another fight in four years. Funny at the 14:42 mark the announcer says JP is eating SUPPLEMENTS of SHIN and LEATHER. Just struck me as funny.
