    You have made a video on my exact experience. Was pretty much gonna get the G3 but the cost was hard to justify and then the N3 showed up. Took a chance and got them and I've been very happy with them. Glad I didn't need to spend the extra money.

      The physical screen size is a LOT smaller on the G3's but optically, the FOV is only about 10 degree smaller. So if you want that extra wide FOV, the N3's are definitely bigger.

      The G3 at 44 degrees is almost perfect for me. The N3 at 54 degrees is a little too wide but I can still see everything clearly with my glasses on. However, I have to move my eyes around the screen to see what's going on at the far corners. Some other people I know say 54 is perfect for them so it's gonna vary by person. Is the latency with the N3 going to be like the 60fps vista cameras or is it lower latency than that? I got used to the 60fps but didn't like it much.

    • @simopi1747
      @simopi1747 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Fps doesn't have anything to do with latency. The latency is in how much time the video needs to arrive in your goggles. The fps is how many frames in a second you can see in the goggles screen

    • @CarbonGlassMan
      @CarbonGlassMan 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @simopi1747 The 60 frames per second nebula and polar cameras have higher latency. The 120 frame per second Nebula Pro cameras have lower latency. So it is at least correlated with latency if not directly responsible.

    • @marblekitfpv
      @marblekitfpv  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Latency in race mode will be as low as 22ms for the N3 and much faster than the older Vista system. I've flown both and the N3 has lower latency.

    The goggles 3 has 6 antennas but N3 has only 4. Does it affect the range ?

    • @marblekitfpv
      @marblekitfpv  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      They both run the O4 system so the advertised range numbers are the same (15km)... however, the actual real world range might be different. Someone needs to be able to fly out at least 25km to find out because that's the test I saw with O4 and the Goggles 2 and we know Goggles 3 should be more.

  • @boyz176

    How is the range and penetration on the n3 compared to g3 as i heard the g3 has 6 antennas. Is the difference significant?

    • @marblekitfpv
      @marblekitfpv  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'll have to test the penetration between the two in a special test. I'm sure the extra 2 antennas will help. Not sure if most people will need the extra penetration though. I've been flying the N3 in all the normal places I fly at and the penetration is just as good as the G3 in my normal flying. Perhaps you have an idea on what would be a good penetration test?

      @ thank you for the reply. I would say the o4 lite whoop inside a house going through few walls or 1 - 2 story high. Or something like what bardwell did with the O3 vs O4 “range test” where he went thru housing area at low altitude.

      @Johnny19853 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Albert talked about the optics in the review video so you should go watch that. I have the N3 goggles and I can tell you that looking at the eyepieces doesn't tell you anything about whether it will work for you or not. I've let a few of my friends try them out and for most there is no issue but a couple of people felt that the screen distortion was too much for them. I had no idea what they were talking about because I did not experience that myself.

    • @marblekitfpv
      @marblekitfpv  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      You can see the eye pieces in the review video which is linked in the description. Just looking at them won't be enough to know if you'll have a good experience with them or not. I think for most people, it will be no problem but some people need special lenses. FYI, I wear the N3 with my glasses so I actually see better and more sharply with the N3's over the G3's.
