She didn't say much, but gave me a big smile every time she saw me. One day, she was taking a break at the end of a hallway looking out the window, no one else around. I just went up to her & said hi, nothing more. She turned, I thought her jaw was going to bounce off the floor. She got a very obvious twitch in her eye. She couldn't utter a complete sentence, lots of hemming, hawing & stammering. Thought for a moment she was going to be sick! Yes, I had recently graduated from a college everyone's heard of (she was two years younger and not in school, which was not at all an issue for me...I'm not like that) & I had a great job with a highly-regarded firm. I doubt she knew that. But even if she did, that was no excuse. Wanted to ask her, "Why are you so nervous around me?! I'm just a guy who appreciates the wonderful care you're giving my grandpa. When are women going to learn, to find out what men need, and want? They are not Disney Characters, nor are you a princess! They are humans, and they built the world we enjoy. From water treatment plans, for you to shower in, they made sure we didn't need fires in our homes.
