You should go to Starbucks and get your normal starbucks drink, but then also make this one at home. And then have him blindfold you and see if you can guess which one was made by starbucks versus you and see if there is any difference between the two drinks!

french press the coffee is so much better! the flavor is much more rich. and i do not use a certain brand. i do not like starbucks coffee so i dont purchase their coffee beans. costco's kirkland brand is pretty good and theres a brand thats sold in a brown paper bag thats organic beans and its really good at costco but I'm not sure if its available everywhere I've only seen it in Texas. i usually just get a medium roast. french press makes the flavor more strong. i usually just try out different kinds of coffee beans honestly its all about your preference and trial and error!

For iced coffee grande size it’s four pumps of liquid syrup of favorite flavor then iced black coffee to the the second line half n half creamer to the third line then top it off with ice to the top we usually mixed it by swirling it without spoon or choice of letting customer swirl/mix there drink! I used to work for Starbucks. You can buy their syrups! If I am remembering correctly it is $12.95 USD. Add the ice last, for a grade it’s 3 pumps. Pumps of syrup first, then do coffee too the 2nd line and cream to the top line add ice and stir it up. You should be good to go!

I make my "lattes" with nescafe instant coffee powder. I take a spoon and put 1 or 2 scoops in a cup, stir it in with a tiny bit of hot water, enough to dissolve the coffee. Then sweeten it with maple syrup or sugar, etc. Add whole milk and ice. Its really good, and that helped me stay away from starbucks.

If u pour left over coffee into an icecube tray u can make iced coffee with them and it won't get watered down as the ice melts, really improves the iced coffee
For a grande its 4 pumps of syrup in the cup and then coffee to the top black line, add whatever amound of cream you want and top off with ice. You HAVE to try if with toffee nut sometime it is magical.

This was an easy-to-follow recipe, thank you:) I just bought a grande iced vanilla w cream coffee this morning and the cost was $4.45. But I like to make them at home also and keep a variety of Torani syrups on hand.
Former Starbucks barista (2005-2009) here, I know I worked there way back in the day lol. There so much new drinks and iterations to make them that I am not knowledgeable on. The whole foam ontop of ice drinks seem foreign to me as that was introduced way later when I worked there lol. But, I can offer a tip. So I would leave the ice for last. So for regular drinks, the syrup pumps are T 3 G 4 V 5 but for iced drinks it's T 3 G 4 V 6 as the iced venti is 24 ounces which is 4 more ounces than regular hot venti since it's 20. So I would put 4 pumps of your syrup in your iced grande cup. So there are two green lines that wrap around the cup as they are designed for measurements. So once you put the syrup in, then fill the iced coffee to the first line in the cup, then fill your cream to the next line. Once you've done that you can mix the syrup and two liquids together. Once completed, I would then put the ice in until it fills the whole cup. :)
Yes! I agree, it’s the best at-home iced coffee method.. But, instead - keep an eye out at Target, they have started selling Starbucks syrups for $12. My go-to is the Classic syrup for my iced coffees!!

Maria Flores yeah in California as well, they are sucking us dry here in LA but to be honest I’m more of a coffee in person anyway and they have gone up as well because I think they’re forced to stay basically on the same level as Starbucks because then they would look like the cheaper brand but I honestly like coffee Bean a lot more for everything the lattes the regular coffee and definitely the ice blended drinks Coffee bean is the way to go if you’re going to get a frappe it’s so rich and creamy where is Starbucks frappe is more like basically a slushy it’s so icy in Grady there’s no creaminess at all
I currently work at starbucks and usually yeah the line indicates how much to put if u want plain ice coffee no cream u pour ice coffee to the top line and add ice. If u want ice coffee with milk, pour ice coffee to the second line, fill milk to the top line and put ice on it
For a ice grande drink its 3 pumps unless you like it sweet. Then the ice coffee to the top black line and then ice. Last is cream or milk. Thats how we make it at starbucks.

You can also get a straight up trenta (no ice, cream or sweetener) and use that as your coffee base, then you only have to go once every 3-4 days. I find the grocery store Starbucks tastes different.
Next time you go to Starbucks, try a Tall ice coffee in a Grande cup. Gives you more room for cream and costs less. I typically get a grande ice coffee in a venti cup sweetened with vanilla or caramel and with the sweet cream (which is basically half milk half "half and half" and vanilla pumps) AND I get the sweet cream cold foam on top with salt. So so good. But I'll definitely try this at home. I tried to do hot coffee iced and it just did not taste the same at all. Also, grande does get four pumps typically.

I don't even use my French press. I just add 4 oz coffee grounds with 24 oz water and let sit over night then using a coffee filter and sieve I strain out the grounds.
Hi barista here (sorry I’m all over this comments section) we actually use a different type of coffee for our cold brew! Not just the standard coffees! Also make sure you are grinding your beans as coarse as possible! The longer you steep the beans the coarser you want the beans to be so the coffee doesn’t get overly bitter!

Robusto beans are the ones that are used for express. If you use a Keurig get a reusable k cup that you can buy from Walmart or Target fill it to the top put it in the Keurig and use your 8oz button. Coffees like ILLY use robusto.

Girl, my bff works at Starbucks & I legit used to go everyday to get my favorite-an Iced Caramel Latte- and he’d hook me up. Finally one day I decided to ask for the recipe & this fool (I say it kindly, lol) said, “We have everything at home all we need is the caramel syrup”. I was SHOOOKETH!!! Literally! All we needed was the syrup and a pump. Which he could get at work at any time! Lol. Ever since then I’ve been making my own. We have a Cold Brew/ Latte keurig at home and I have the reusable Starbucks cup (like the one you have) & it’s been life changing. I have a Venti Iced Caramel Latte everyday and sometimes 2! Lol.

I work at Starbucks and tall gets 3 pumps and grande gets 4 pumps and venti iced gets 6 pumps. Put the 4 pumps of the vanilla bean syrup first, then pour iced coffee to the second line and cream to the third line and then fill it with ice.

Or you could go into a starbucks store and you can ask for a bottle of syrup and they cost 13.00 and it would be a more closer taste to what we make at starbucks. Also we use half and half creamer it has a purple sticker and a yellow lid. If you want to make the ice coffee at home the guatemala coffee bag we use when we run out of the ice coffee. So the Guatemala roast is the best option to brew your ice coffee at home. For your cup of Iced Coffee for a venti is 4 pumps of vanilla or however you like in your drink.

YaGurlShay Marshall yeah you definitely need an espresso machine to make the caramel macchiato because the caramel macchiato is not a coffee drink it’s a latte which is beast with espresso it’s the espresso the steamed milk the vanilla sera up and then the foamed milk with the caramel sauce if you doing it hot

I can relate too much on this. Lol I work near a Starbucks, I order on a daily Iced Coffee with 3 pumps of Vanilla[No classic makes it too sweet for my preference] then 2 pumps of caramel with Half n Half. I've tried other iced coffees with other milk like whole or 2% its not as creamy. Dutch Bros, and Dunkin their flavors in their coffees are a lot sweeter but still good. I loved this video.
My coffee shop actually has a contract with starbucks and they use Fontana syrup not tortani. Also drinks are made with 2% unless otherwise specified 🙂 hope this helps someone out there!
Hey I just wanna let you know that you can actually buy the syrups directly from Starbuck. Just make sure you ask for a pump because sometimes that won’t give it to you.

I make Americanos from Starbucks espresso beans. I grind them fresh in the bullet blender every day. It’s amazing. Beans are only available in Starbucks stores, they’re about $13/lb.
Add your coffee to the middle line. Add your milk to the ridge above the top line and then ice it so you get light ice and more milk like you mentioned you liked :) and yes 4 pumps of syrup and you can try purchasing syrup at your local Starbucks.

i worked at starbucks for almost a year. this is good, but the pump you got will probably let out too much syrup. the regular amount of pumps for a grande is 3, but you may want to do 2 since the pump is a little long. always put in the syrup before anything else, then fill your cup to that top black line with coffee, then put in ice and half and half. also, with iced coffee at starbucks, they always put in classic sweetener even if you ask for vanilla too. for a tall, it’s 2 pumps. grande is 3, and venti is 4, for most drinks. 🙂👍

If u pour left over coffee into an icecube tray u can make iced coffee with them and it won't get watered down as the ice melts, really improves the iced coffee

For a grande its 4 pumps of syrup in the cup and then coffee to the top black line, add whatever amound of cream you want and top off with ice. You HAVE to try if with toffee nut sometime it is magical.

This was an easy-to-follow recipe, thank you:) I just bought a grande iced vanilla w cream coffee this morning and the cost was $4.45. But I like to make them at home also and keep a variety of Torani syrups on hand.
Of course it’s easy to follow, it’s just cream 😂
Former Starbucks barista (2005-2009) here, I know I worked there way back in the day lol. There so much new drinks and iterations to make them that I am not knowledgeable on. The whole foam ontop of ice drinks seem foreign to me as that was introduced way later when I worked there lol. But, I can offer a tip. So I would leave the ice for last. So for regular drinks, the syrup pumps are T 3 G 4 V 5 but for iced drinks it's T 3 G 4 V 6 as the iced venti is 24 ounces which is 4 more ounces than regular hot venti since it's 20. So I would put 4 pumps of your syrup in your iced grande cup. So there are two green lines that wrap around the cup as they are designed for measurements. So once you put the syrup in, then fill the iced coffee to the first line in the cup, then fill your cream to the next line. Once you've done that you can mix the syrup and two liquids together. Once completed, I would then put the ice in until it fills the whole cup. :)
Yes! I agree, it’s the best at-home iced coffee method.. But, instead - keep an eye out at Target, they have started selling Starbucks syrups for $12. My go-to is the Classic syrup for my iced coffees!!

Maria Flores yeah in California as well, they are sucking us dry here in LA but to be honest I’m more of a coffee in person anyway and they have gone up as well because I think they’re forced to stay basically on the same level as Starbucks because then they would look like the cheaper brand but I honestly like coffee Bean a lot more for everything the lattes the regular coffee and definitely the ice blended drinks Coffee bean is the way to go if you’re going to get a frappe it’s so rich and creamy where is Starbucks frappe is more like basically a slushy it’s so icy in Grady there’s no creaminess at all

For a ice grande drink its 3 pumps unless you like it sweet. Then the ice coffee to the top black line and then ice. Last is cream or milk. Thats how we make it at starbucks.

You can also get a straight up trenta (no ice, cream or sweetener) and use that as your coffee base, then you only have to go once every 3-4 days. I find the grocery store Starbucks tastes different.

Next time you go to Starbucks, try a Tall ice coffee in a Grande cup. Gives you more room for cream and costs less. I typically get a grande ice coffee in a venti cup sweetened with vanilla or caramel and with the sweet cream (which is basically half milk half "half and half" and vanilla pumps) AND I get the sweet cream cold foam on top with salt. So so good. But I'll definitely try this at home. I tried to do hot coffee iced and it just did not taste the same at all. Also, grande does get four pumps typically.

if you buy Starbucks coffee grinds and a French press, you can make cold brew overnight. Super cheap and great coffee!

I don't even use my French press. I just add 4 oz coffee grounds with 24 oz water and let sit over night then using a coffee filter and sieve I strain out the grounds.
Hi barista here (sorry I’m all over this comments section) we actually use a different type of coffee for our cold brew! Not just the standard coffees! Also make sure you are grinding your beans as coarse as possible! The longer you steep the beans the coarser you want the beans to be so the coffee doesn’t get overly bitter!

Robusto beans are the ones that are used for express. If you use a Keurig get a reusable k cup that you can buy from Walmart or Target fill it to the top put it in the Keurig and use your 8oz button. Coffees like ILLY use robusto.

Girl, my bff works at Starbucks & I legit used to go everyday to get my favorite-an Iced Caramel Latte- and he’d hook me up. Finally one day I decided to ask for the recipe & this fool (I say it kindly, lol) said, “We have everything at home all we need is the caramel syrup”. I was SHOOOKETH!!! Literally! All we needed was the syrup and a pump. Which he could get at work at any time! Lol. Ever since then I’ve been making my own. We have a Cold Brew/ Latte keurig at home and I have the reusable Starbucks cup (like the one you have) & it’s been life changing. I have a Venti Iced Caramel Latte everyday and sometimes 2! Lol.

I work at Starbucks and tall gets 3 pumps and grande gets 4 pumps and venti iced gets 6 pumps. Put the 4 pumps of the vanilla bean syrup first, then pour iced coffee to the second line and cream to the third line and then fill it with ice.

Or you could go into a starbucks store and you can ask for a bottle of syrup and they cost 13.00 and it would be a more closer taste to what we make at starbucks. Also we use half and half creamer it has a purple sticker and a yellow lid. If you want to make the ice coffee at home the guatemala coffee bag we use when we run out of the ice coffee. So the Guatemala roast is the best option to brew your ice coffee at home. For your cup of Iced Coffee for a venti is 4 pumps of vanilla or however you like in your drink.

YaGurlShay Marshall yeah you definitely need an espresso machine to make the caramel macchiato because the caramel macchiato is not a coffee drink it’s a latte which is beast with espresso it’s the espresso the steamed milk the vanilla sera up and then the foamed milk with the caramel sauce if you doing it hot

I can relate too much on this. Lol I work near a Starbucks, I order on a daily Iced Coffee with 3 pumps of Vanilla[No classic makes it too sweet for my preference] then 2 pumps of
caramel with Half n Half. I've tried other iced coffees with other milk like whole or 2% its not as creamy. Dutch Bros, and Dunkin their flavors in their coffees are a lot sweeter but still good. I loved this video.

Add your coffee to the middle line. Add your milk to the ridge above the top line and then ice it so you get light ice and more milk like you mentioned you liked :) and yes 4 pumps of syrup and you can try purchasing syrup at your local Starbucks.

i worked at starbucks for almost a year. this is good, but the pump you got will probably let out too much syrup. the regular amount of pumps for a grande is 3, but you may want to do 2 since the pump is a little long. always put in the syrup before anything else, then fill your cup to that top black line with coffee, then put in ice and half and half. also, with iced coffee at starbucks, they always put in classic sweetener even if you ask for vanilla too. for a tall, it’s 2 pumps. grande is 3, and venti is 4, for most drinks. 🙂👍
