One of the best live performances I've heard of starship trooper. Back in the 80 and 90's we got the whole light show as well, rigging moving and dry ice. Felt like you were part of a star trooper landscape 😊 But got to say this was brilliant. So happy for Jon at 79 sounding so good and finding a band so talented. Bass playing reminds me so much of Chris's. He was the reason i got hooked on live concerts - feeling the bass power smack you in the chest for the first time was a wow moment I'll never forget. It was a sonic boom from Chris.
When you listened to something/some band 50 plus years ago and you revisit it, there’s a danger that you will be disappointed. NOT so with Yes music. It’s good classical music, in the sense that it is inherently great; all you need is competent, passionate musicians to play it. Having said that, to see the Band of Geeks is like watching, and listening to, the LSO with Beethoven (ie. Jon) on the Piano 🍾❤️
@@hpatss4966 we al know the history. We aren’t idiots. Its history. Now is now. Older people can get over their past and let bygones be bygones. I have rekindled relationships from 40 years ago with a simple conversation because I’m not a child and life goes on.

I'd love to see this group live. Seen Jon many times both with Yes and without. He brings the spirit of Yes with him wherever he goes.
Jon Anderson THE VOICE. THE MASTER. FOREVER YES❣️❣️❣️🎤🎤🎤 Love and Light ❤️🌅 and The Band Geeks❗️❗️❗️👍😎
The voice od an angel. ALWAYS!
AMAZING !!! Jon's voice is still ANGELIC, right? Takes me way back in time, and I LOVE IT !!
He is simply ageless. To have that much energy at 79 is an inspiration!
Still sounds pretty good for almost 80, and glad he found a vehicle to continue to sing Yes music, they certainly look capable.

Hope they come to Europe
He was there last summer.
@@RadagastBrown420 I know. I saw him in Madrid. But not with The Band Geeks.
Not Yes, but good!
You all are putting the other Howe cover band to shame!!!!
Pfft 😂 tell me you don’t know the history and interpersonal politics of Yes without saying so
