- I made a series of emergency landings, due to engine failure in GTA 5.
This is just a demonstration of the physics of aircraft in in this game and has nothing to do with reality.

ok i dunno but today i was playing with one of those big miltary planes in director mode and accidentally touched the ocean with it, disabling 2/4 engines and making the plane bank to the right, i managed to recover and i was actually fighting for my life right there, i actually managed to land at the sandy shores airport

tip: to do a good emergency landing, always either go for the beach, a big highway and if possible try to manage to land to the airport.

beastmeister11 Stein because it landed at like 50 knots at which you would be essentially falling out of the sky, he landed in 5 foot high water, and crashed down at a sink rate that would essentially kill you on impact even if the plane was not crushed or exploded.

The Plane shouldn't be sinking when it hits the water. It will either Disintegrate, or float since the air is pressurized. Hope they correct this in the next GTA game

I like that the npc' s dont care. When you aim with a gun at them they run away screaming like crap
but when a plane crashes, they walk away like nothing had happened.

The water landing at 1:50 where the plane hit the sea floor before sinking completely makes it look realistic instead of the plane dropping into the ocean immediately
Rinaldo Kiissa it’s because if you have played gta v and saw that it was a river and the part of the river he was at was the shallowest spot so he could land and not sink

GTA needs to realise that planes float for a little bit

Aswell as that it shouldnt just fucking explode for a hitting something with its wing, it shoudl come off, but plane itself should be more resitant after landing and behave like Heli's did in GTA IV or cars in collisions, it shouldnt just stupidly explode over nothing, unless its a really hard crash with the core of the plane, but if its the wings it should have them just tear off and slide along the ground

GTA needs more logic like planes don’t just sink to the bottom so fast
If a planes wing hit something the wing would be only
Partly damaged and it wouldn’t come off or explode like it did here
It's most idiotic thing about GTA 5's damage....it should be more like GTA IV, there you could survive in a damaged heli, in 5 everything just has to stupidly explode instantly. Plane could loose a wing without exploding and it should be able to crash and behave more like car's do with their damage instead of just stupidly exploding.

I think there are things that are bad in gta 5. For example, if the direct explosion of the planes is a bit fragmented, wouldn't it be better like the beamg drive game, belik gta 6 would be like those who join me like it
