Hi - Thinks for the video - Quick question. I previously installed site kit and the stream but did it in my staging environment of my wordpress site. I thought that pushing changes from staging to production would also install the site kit and connect data stream in production live site, but it never captured any data. I'm starting to wonder if this was why. Should this only be installed in the production environment?
I have a question! Do I still need an XML sitemap from Site kit by Google to be placed on my Google search console? I think I need it so that search console will start crawling and indexing my site. Where can I find it?
You just have to set up your Google Search Console account and authorize it to work through the Google Site Kit app and it should automatically work if you have Google Analytics 4 installed. If you are using the same Google account for Google Analytics 4, you can use that to authorize it once you have it installed.
