From an in-game perspective, all weapons will be purchased only when all weapons serve different roles.
All submachine guns and shotguns are close quarter run-n-gun weapons;
All automatic rifles are close to mid-range do-it-all weapons;
All sniper rifles are mid to long-range marksman weapons;
All machineguns are close to mid-range fire support weapons.
M249 can shoot fast but weight too much; It can suppress one direction for a long time but not accurate enough; It can be a good ambush weapon on save rounds but cost too much...
No one wants M249 because it does none of these roles well!

Please it's actually terrible I know there is a learning curve but gosh so many times I was throw for a loop by the new model.
@@TheSubieFan How? Almost all of them look like the normal T/CT models but with slightly changed colors or faces
@@somaannn some models have different coloured clothes and that may be annoying to play against especially if some skins can camouflage in some maps ( IF )
@@somaannn you learn what they look like over 1000s of hours, any slight variation will throw you off, and these changes aren't even slight.

I’m colorblind and I’ve heard from other people that are as well, the player model changes are ruining the game for us.
Tbf it's pretty awful for anyone. It's nice to see they added that and they still update the game but I want a client feature to remove that, I actually really dislike the skins rn, they render certain maps unplayable (looking at you cache, my fav map :(( )
The Galil and Famas are gonna be very popular. The prices went from good to crazy.
The Galil was good before, the AK is just so crazy that you never pass it up over a Galil. The Famas went from overpriced forcebuy, to reasonable.

It took me about 7 games too. I can do pretty well in DZ, but limiting myself to short range shotguns made it much harder to pick fights. I had to try and kite players into houses, or clusters of rocks where my shotguns would be effective, or they would just pistol/smg me to death.
It took me several games to get the 10 Nova kills
I got it all in one game with swag-7 bruh
I was pretty lucky tho since I just backstabbed 2 teams in one house.
I paid $15 for the ENTIRE game when it wasn't FTP. Anyone else turned off by the pass being the original cost of the game?
Not to mention the fact previous operations were $5, that's a 200% increase in price, which is absurd.
I get they want to continue to monetize the game, but lets be honest here, the cases and market transactions make them a ton of money already. I would also argue that for what you get, it really isn't worth that amount of money. They're charging more than Apex Legends, and Fortnite, which are also FTP.
Ehh, as someone else who bought the game for full price I don't really care to be honest. The missions can still be played for free without purchasing the pass, and all of my friends and I just sold spare skins to buy the pass anyways

That is right, I was playing casual on Sigma Group and everyone was using a Nova (me too, ofc) and people using other weapons were always kicked right away.
I mean, that makes sense, because you are disadvantaged when using a Nova and you care only about the mission (since you bought a 15$ pass).

This is what i love about WarOwl's content, literally everyone and their mother is making videos about the operation and the cases and the skins because they know that will get them quick clicks on their vids, but WarOwl gets the important bits first, the SG nerf!! The second i saw the update i was waiting for a WarOwl vid because i knew he would talk about the mechanics and changes before the flashy skins and operators.
This is the fastest response video to a counterstrike update in a long time.
The new player models is basically paving the way for purchasable T-shirts, pants, belts accessories, etc
I sincerely doubt it since you cannot see them on yourself in the way you can see or inspect weapons.

In 1.6 it was possible to set player models to default so all models looked the same. We need that in csgo now aswell.

I remember when the Famas first came out in CS 1.6 and was actually good on burst mode (the only way I used it), now burst mode is useless.
It has barely any recoil in 1.6/CZ/CSS when in burst mode.

I’ve been using the sg and aug since day one. i love how they handle. i was happy to see the price drop. sad to see everyone say its op. happy to see it at the old price. happy that i don’t get called a cod noob even though csgo was my first fps.
i'm the same way! csgo was my first fps as well, but I started playing cs after the prices had already been dropped. I also didn't know anything about cod so didn't realize those weapons were considered "grill guns" or "cod noob" guns. I chose & learned them purely based on weapon stats and gameplay scenarios/strats. I always thought the price of most T-sided weapons was a bit low (especially the sg lol) considering CTs have less powerful weapons AND more equipment costs generally, so I don't mind the new sg price at all. The aug price doesn't seem entirely justified to me though, especially given the ~actual~ nerf it got a while ago :/

I played Vertigo, there were 4 Ts in the enemy team with the normal black/white model. Then there came one with this Dust 2 model and I were so confused that I didn't shoot him...

6:30 regarding the player models. I think they are a huge problem because some models give you a significant advantage on some maps because you look so different from other players and maybe even more like the models from the other team. Also I had one experience on vertigo where the enemy skin was so gray and looked just like the background, unlike the other enemy models, that you couldnt see him at first glance.
I always bought the galil as entry fragger on Inferno. The one hit headshot to non helmet CTs was nice, and I was able to buy utility to get banana control.

I've recently, (before this update) gone for a Galil with max utility vs an AK with just a single nade
I use to ALWAYS miss shots with the Galil, now I double dink the enemy before they even notice I am there.

Warning: If you want the diamond operation coin, you can't skip any missions. 10 stars a week is not enough for a diamond coin

I just thought of a meta change, reverse the horizontal spread pattern between left to right handed!
I used the galil a lot when I couldn't afford an ak or p250, or wanted to cheap out on a nice in between that pulled its weight significantly. after these changes the famas, and galil feel too much like carbon copies of an ak dumbed down compared to their predacessors.

Galil also takes more time to shoot the first bullet. You cant measure that cuz its in the game decision making.

I mean, you get free sprays, which is a step up from them being paid. But you get them as free drops from playing normal competitive, and no one cares about sprays to begin with.

Well csgo turned f2p so its actually just following d2 formula
For $15 you'll get a few stickers, a few cases (+2.50 to open), a few sprays, three new selectable player models (that you can sell) and a coin. Not bad for a DLC.
Pretty confident that if you sold off everything you could get the $15 back into your steam wallet. Maybe not, not sure what the player models are going to sell for when this is all said and done.

It's in the list of missions on the main menu. You just click on it and it'll set up the queue for you.
