I had no idea they had this. I had come across a few of the tracks over the years in a mix up cd from Koei, but never a full arrange. Would of bought this cd ages ago if I had known. Can't find a copy now, so thanks for posting this Ryan.
I love the music in KOEI's early games, but I don't have the patience to play them on account that they are all strategy games, and I feel that if I make a single mistake, I would fail at the game.
Koei games music back in the day is more culture influent.. Using most traditional instrument to play the music, soung more suitable for me, also more creative and represent the composer knowledge much more. Later games soundtrack quite good but it lost its charm and drier ( more western feel - affect by hollywood epic style soundttack..).. A little dissappointed to see that good music have gone away !!

Wow, this is amazing. I played this on Sega Genesis. My brother and I would leave the game idle for hours just to hear the music.

The music from tracks 14, 17 , 18 and 19 play at the ending, at least in the MS-DOS version.
20 is just the intro again, closing the album.

I would kill for a remake of this game with this soundtrack on it.
Wow. Thanks for uploading this. A lot of these tracks are really fantastic!

favorite track for me is 24:46 :)
アナログな感じのほうがいいな。
this was not at all what i expected
Yea, but not before annoyingly being in exile for years first ;-)
God Bless Chinerica!
Where can I buy the soundtrack? Greatly appreciated!
Playasia and japanese online auctions might be your best bets. Its quite difficult to track down old games OST at a decent price, though.
would like to know as well!
