just came across this very interesting video. It's old, but the problematic isn't ! in my case: same! only, for me (male, 58 YO, been dealing with knee pain for 5 years now) it was the *power versions* of the lifts causing it. Sort of a "jumper's knee": the rebound when catching the weight in the 1/4 squat repeatedly - as I'm old, I rarely do the full lifts, so I did a lot of powers - well *that* turned out to be the issue. Now (2 months in) practicing *muscle variations* of the lifts as my knees seem to be slowly healing !
I’m having the same exact injury, instead of deep paused squatting I just do seated squatting... and of course switched to power varies olympic style lifting, its been more than 3 month and the pain come and goes specially when I I jump it hits really hard... I’ll seek medical advise soon and see what the doctor advise me to do about it, hopefully he will not till me to quit.

Hopefully you can resolve it 👍
Very great video
Glad you found it useful 👍
You mean 5 month without lifting at all ?
