Bought one last week as a first bike.. Only had it out once and it's scary in a parking lot and I had no idea how to turn. Watched your beginner videos since then, waiting for a sunny dry day. 😎
I’ve owned and ridden for nearly 50 years… Minis take me back to the 1st time I threw my leg over the seat of my pals Honda XR75… Sure LITRE bikes and 600s fly, making gobs of POWER… Groms/minis , are just Sooo simple and entertaining to explore on… I just putt around my area on mine, maybe 40 MAX…lol!!! It’s GREAT for Tacos n Ice cream runs or ANYTIME youneed a lil more punch than a bicycle… They are THE BEST way to have fun on a quiet , lazy day….For myself anyhow…😇👍
Got my endorsement two weeks ago on this bike. I practiced one day a week, (3-5 hrs.) for 5 months. Great bike to learn on: small, light weight, and it has a clutch and shifter. This bike inspires confidence. If you wanna learn how to ride, BUY THIS BIKE.👍🏽💯
Just completed my MSF 2 days ago! I learned on a Harley 400x I think is what it’s called. Kinda wish that bike was in the US, but the grom does look like a lot of fun
I love your attitude man it doesn't matter if we ride Grom or scooter or sport bike safety is a #1 priority and if someone says man you crazy wearing this stuff and all that tell him it's about your health and safety not his, and if he wants to ride a bike naked that's his choice.
one of the best smiles-per-hour on the planet. I got my license chucking a little grom around a parking lot.. drag that rear brake and you can nearly stop the thing on an apex and shoot out like a gnat changing direction... so much fun.
My son's 6-3. 195 and could go faster in 3rd than in 4th with his old Grom. He dropped ONE tooth off the drive sprocket and can now hit 65mph on the flat and 69 with a tailwind! Only other modification is a cheap glass-pack muffler and 40psi tires
I literally just bought one today but dealership said 2weeks for assembly. I can’t wait to have some fune on it and for what I paid brand new was cheaper than most I saw used so I’m happy about that. Hello from Australia

Yeah it definitely should be for sure. Depending on the year of the from you can make it 150 miles on a full tank of gas. gets about 85 miles to the gallon on the newer gen groms. All of the groms hold arround 1.6 gallons
Bought one as my first bike a year ago took it everywhere was such a laugh. Traded up and got the 765RS but kinda miss it. When i get a larger garage will have to pop down to the dealer and get another or maybe the honda monkey :)
A grom would be perfect for someone of your stature tbh. Even if you want another bike, most bikes have aftermarket support, and you could get a lower seat for them.

ATGATT - All The Gear All The Time. I'm a big proponent of it. Anyone that has ridden enough miles has been cut off by that driver that "didn't see you". Ride enough miles, and you will have some close calls. I'd rather sweat from the extra armor than take an impact in a tee shirt. Gear won't protect you from your own stupidity. But when someone else is stupid, it will lessen the impact. And that is the whole point. Maybe it turns a break into a sprain. Maybe it turns brain damage into ringing your bell. Take every advantage you can with ATGATT.
I eamt a commute scooter, retired sick of expensive fuel, but too small im 6 foot 270, ill find a 250 to 350, with spme grocery storage and an easy over foot deck, it cool though
The 2022 is a lot better and it’s faster proven fact my friend has a 2020 I have a 2022 and mine laterally gaps his bike by Atleast a car length lol we both have intake & exhaust
Yeah definitely but the little 125s can go 0-30 pretty quick and low weight off the line means you can get ahead around town unless someone floors their car.
Giggling like a little girl even before leaving the parking lot. That should tell you everything you need to know. I bought mine 4 years ago. Was I happy with it? No. Was it enough for me? No. Solution? I bought a second one last year. That's how bad those Hondas are.
By the way, on the race track, i had so much fun. You'll scrape the peg easily. One fuel tank will last a full day, tires don't get shredded, if you crash, that's on you.
Hands moving, pointing and gesturing within the frame are distracting. I wanted to watch this video to the end, but had to move on because the moving hands pull my eyes away from the bike. It's your vid and you can make them however you choose, but...
I live by Newport Beach and commute to school everyday on 2017 grom I love lane filtering it’s so easy especially with California shit drivers . And never have to go to gas stations. I took it to apex there good but needs some upgrades compared to small Moto gp bikes. Suspension is terrible and brakes fade is bad. Love the Grom. It just needs a few things and then I'd buy one. +825cc +bigger sized frame +17" wheels +6 speed +much better aesthetics Otherwise they are totally cool.
Haha.. I’m hoping the Grom stays a Grom.. but if they do what they did with the Mini.. it’s no longer a Mini. (By increasing its proportions to meet fat American’ expectations)
@@PetroHead I know. I'm only funnin. I've ridden a Z125pro and I did it without any desire to buy one, and I maintained that after the demo was over. But I don't mind experiencing all sorts of stuff.
I rode a Grom and a Monkey. They were the slowest bikes I have ever ridden! It is the only motorcycle I have ridden where you turn the throttle and NOTHING happens! They remind me of those go carts that you rent and race on the track. They are governed I think for about 10mph and when you push the gas pedal it takes them about 5 minutes to think about moving. IMO, the Grom and Monkey are ok around the neighborhood or on country rural roads, but I wouldn't feel comfortable taking them on any highways or major roads where the speed limit is over 40mph. If you tried to merge in front of a car or a truck, you are going to be road kill! Forget highways! Why buy a 9hp motorcycle and soup it up to 15hp when you can just get a 300cc and have 35hp for a little bit more? They are are for pussies and kids that are afraid of a real motorcycle. I had a Honda 300 CBRR that I sold because it was too slow to stay with traffic, and it was over stressed on the highway because you are running near redline all the time. They are unsafe IMO in most situations because you can't avoid accidents because on insufficient acceleration.
