Jim, it was interesting watching the track plan unfold. I smiled when I saw (or at least I think I saw) a mixture of flex track and sectional track in the mix. My dad always used sectional track and when he passed, I saved all of it. So, I use a mix of sectional and flex as I build my layout.
Sometimes the track needs to be actually on the board to see if it's what one wants. So hence the plan a,b and c!. There is a piece of sectional track; the curved piece at the point on the siding behind the mill. It just worked well there.
