3 weeks ago, we were asked to help a client with their NetSuite and in linking it to a 3rd party shopping cart. I got my team onto it to see how we could help them. I then watched your video which very swiftly gave me everything I needed to know in just over 30 minutes.
Your video and presentation style was like a bullseye moment (and I get bored easily with training videos). I Was enthralled from beginning to end as your explanations are straight to the point, no waffle and are super articulate, with every click and word not a wasted breath. Keep up the good work. If NetSuite themselves let me through the looking glass as you have done with this video, I would probably already be using NetSuite. It's their refusal to let me test drive, while only offering unspecific 3 minute videos, which makes me wonder whether or not this would work for my company. This is exactly what I needed and it helps. Thank you.

Fantastic presentation. 20+ years with mid.range ERP but never did Netsuite. I understand and believe 90% of the work is already in my head with understanding of business process and data layers and all I really wanted to learn was how the interface worked which is just 10% of how a system works in my opinion and you did a fantastic job articulating that.

I have started learning NS as I'm planning to shift my career from QA to NS administrator. You videos are very helpful and explained thoroughly. Hi Chris, thank you so much for the wonderful training videos. Do we have any feature for extracting projected reports based on some entries which do not actually get posted , something like projection report, projected Balance sheet or an income statement?
Like you want to export a projected Balance Sheet? For sure, just click the export button on the bottom right of the projected Balance Sheet.
Very Informative! Are there ANY videos available that discuss how to set up NetSuite to reflect LIVE rates with the shipping carrier, FedEx for example? I have searched everywhere and have not been able to find anything helpful. I am told that under the "shipping rate" tab, a discount rate needs to be entered for a particular shipping method (FedEx Ground for example). This seems to defeat the purpose of pulling live rates with the carrier, if a discount rate needs to be entered. Not to mention, that entering a discount rate of say, 25% may not be the correct discount % for all weights for a specific shipping service, where the discounts may differ based on different weight breaks. ANY information on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Diego, everything is recorded professionally and edited together. No all-in-one software/platform like Loom.
Can you tell me how can i Highlight any field name on the sales order form. it should grab users attention while opening a new sales order form.
You can't really highlight a field, but you can customize the form so that the field really stands out and is almost impossible to overlook. You would do that by hitting Customize Form on the applicable Sales Order form (while in the Admin role) and rearranging the fields so that the necessary field was off on its own and selected as Mandatory.
I'm applying for Financial Controller level positions in companies that use Netsuite, but I've never used this system before. Do you have a recommended Playlist or Learning Path of which video courses to start and end with?

Like, you want to add a chart or graph to your team's dashboard? You should check out my videos on SuiteAnalytics. I don't think the video where I show how to add SuiteAnalytics as a portlet is available on TH-cam (it's only in my Administrators Course), but you can check out the video I have on adding Saved Search Portlets and the concept is identical.

Hi Venus, first off: which exam are you taking, SuiteFoundation? If so, I'm making a course right now that is meant to prepare ppl for that exam. I'll have it done by January. To answer your exact question: no, NetSuite does not make demo accounts easily accessible for non-customers. This is constantly a problem for people that want to become consultants or even want to check out NetSuite before they decide to buy it. I'm trying to find a workaround, and if I do, I'll post a video about it on this channel (so subscribe!).

It won't hurt, but no, this beginner's video is not adequate preparation for the exam.

Are you talking about getting an official certification as a NetSuite developer? Or just training on how to be a good NetSuite developer, because those are two completely different things.
If you want training to be a NetSuite developer, I'm in very early stages of making a developer's course. But that won't be released for at least a month or more. You can check out my TH-cam video on SuiteScript Basics if you want a quick introduction.

The Application Developer and Web Services Developer certifications can be done without SuiteFoundation Cert. However the SuiteCloud developer has App, Web Services and SuiteFoundation all as prerequisites.

You can purchase NetSuite from Oracle NetSuite or from any licensed NetSuite Solution Providers. If you're talking about getting a demo account, unfortunately they are not easy to come by. NetSuite generally limits them to paid clients.
