Cena genuinely seems like a caring human being. He’s a shining example of using your platform to help others. He knows how much it means to people just to spend a few minutes with him and he does it all the time!

When I was 16. My dad was in veterans hospital in Baltimore. They called at 11:30 pm. I answered they asked to talk to my mom and I knew they were calling because he died. I walked outside after giving her the phone and punched a hole in our wooden privacy fence then dropped to my knees and cried in yard...
John Cena you can tell is just an incredible person. That first clip was an uppercut right to the feels. Great to see when huge celebrities are actually really good people
Fuckin onions man....... Great video, as a dad who fought cancer, and saw what it did to my kids, the first one hit hard. They were terrified, and as much as I tried to hide it from them, I was too. Watching them break down when I was sick broke my heart, and I made my mind that there was no way I was missing anything or any time with them. We won, them and their mother and I, luckily. It was not easy, but they all kept me going. I had many times that I thought I wanted to quit, because it hurts, so bad, sometimes. They wouldn't let me, even if they never said a word, I was never going to stop fighting. Not as long as I had a breath left in me, and still not to this day. Love is a powerful thing, and I never really understood that until I was told that I could very easily die. It's an amazing thing really.
Glad you’re still here brother, I was too young to remember thank god but I put my parents thru that kind nightmare. I can’t imagine and I’m very thankful I can’t remember. You’re a legend for being the man of the house while you went thru it. I’m glad you’re still with us
You can’t see him but you can’t unsee how much cena cares about his fana when the kid came out and said thank you and cenas says stop stop my heart sank
I was in attendance at the Washington Redskins Buffalo Bills game the week after Sean was murdered. A lil preface to this post, my Nephew and I attended every Redskins Training Camp from 2002- 2008, we kinda became "fixtures" at the facility during those 2 weeks every year. We knew the Vendors, Security, and became acquaintances with some of the players and coaches. We both always seemed to be at the right place at the right time, meeting Coach Gibbs, Lavar, Clinton, Smoot, Cooley, Griffin, the list is endless.... including Sean Taylor. Fan Appreciation Day was crazy fun, the crowds were insane. We only had one person we really wanted to meet and sign our items that was Sean. He signed everything for us...Rookie Jerseys, took photos, signed Authentic Full Size Throwback Helmet, Programs, EVERYTHING year after year. We weren't friends so to speak, but he and many other players knew who we were. Sean was such a great kid. Very humble and quiet, but he appreciated the fans. We were blessed every year to be able to actually see and talk with him, briefly, but able to none the less. The day Sean was shot it was my 41st Birthday, it was absolutely devastating to my Nephew and I. So much in fact that I took off the entire week of work and made it a mission to get the best seats available if the game was going to be played the following weekend, which it was. My Nephew and I drove to Ashburn Virginia where Redskins Park (Training Camp) was held, there was a huge Makeshift Memorial there with the numbers "21" painted in the grass, and so many personal artifacts left by so many fans. We arrived there at dawn the day of the Buffalo game to pay our respects and be a part of this Memorial. It just so happened we were the only ones there except for 3 older women who were leaving as we arrived. They had to be in their 70s, and the looks on their faces were.... beyond sad. My Nephew and I didn't say much to one another, we put a few things down where everyone else had placed their items, took many photos, walked around the number "21" a few times, then left to go to the Buffalo game. When we arrived at FedEx Stadium, you could feel the sadness in the air. People were in disbelief and denial of what had happened just days before. SEAN was our guy, how did this happen? We entered the Stadium and found out way to our seats, everyone was given "21" towels when we entered, and it seemed like everyone had "21" jerseys on, my Nephew and I included. Before the game started the band marched on to the field and did a slow sad rendition of " HTTR" ...again, the sadness in the Stadium was unlike anything I've ever felt before, especially that many fans in one place. And then the announcer came across the "PA" system announcing the Tribute they were about to do on the huge Jumbotron TVs in the Stadium. I literally get upset now writing this as I can vividly recall....the music they played was from the ending of the film "Gladiator"...when Maximus died. Again, they're wasn't a dry eye on the Stadium, everyone rose waving their "21" towels, grown men sobbing uncontrollably, random people trying to comfort random people next to them, women, children, ushers, Security, vendors....all crying, it was surreal. I still don't know if anyone else saw what I did, but above the end of the Stadium, above the lights, I happened to notice one dove just circling by itself, then suddenly, it decided to come into the Stadium, fly from one end zone to the other, then above and out over the lights on the opposite side of which it entered the Stadium. The tribute on the giant TVs only lasted maybe 5 minutes, but that dove captured my attention. I'd just like to say this is closing....Sean Taylor was very misunderstood in the public eye, especially the media, but the fans, and those of us who had a small rapport with him will never forget who he was as a man.... unselfish with his time, very humble, outgoing, considerate, and appreciative. I've been a Washington Redskins fan since 1972, I've met many many players and coaches, been to many many games, have memorabilia you can't imagine and personal photos that are amazing... but the day Sean was murdered, it all changed for me. I'm still a fan, but I can honestly say it's never been the same since. Seans father (Pedro) sent me a personally signed book many years later with a lengthy inscription telling me how much he appreciated my Nephew and I, and how it means the world to him knowing how much he son impacted us personally. Sean Taylor will ALWAYS be my favorite player, not just because he was great on the field, but because he was a great human being that took the time for years to make my Nephew and I feel like a million bucks everytime we saw him. I'll anyways be eternally grateful for those moments....and I know my now 38 year old Nephew does. I wouldn't take back those memories for anything.
@@lizcoz4714 On November 26, 2007, Taylor heard noises in his house and, while investigating the cause, was shot in the leg by a home intruder. Taylor's fiancée, Jackie García, and their 18-month-old daughter, Jackie, were unharmed. Taylor's femoral artery was severed, causing extensive blood loss.
