    I know what you mean. Watching a Mato vid. is a pleasant way to start my day. His calm voice describing some not so calm games seems to work on many levels.

    Mato, just an observation , but at 5:30 (possible continuation) the bishop is totally safe where it is on d7. If rxd7 then Qe1+..rd2...Qxd2++

    6... didn't bring good results for black. Here is the main line: 6...Na5 7.Bb5+ Bd7 8.Qe2 a6 9.Bxd7+ Qxd7 10.Bg5 e6 11.0-0-0 Qc7 12.Bxf6 gxf6 13.f4 Nc6 14.f5 Nxd4 15.Rxd4 Be7 16.Rhd1 Rc8 17Qg4 white is better.

    Interesting at the end how you keep making moves with the Queen until you get a fork. I guess that is the standard thing to do when you have a Queen vs 2 pieces

    at 3:54 there is forced mate after 1. Rxe5 pawn takes back 2. Bf5+ Kh8 3. Qh3(or h4, if the d-pawn recaptured) and mate on h7 is undefendable

    Fischer's immortal rook lift.

  • @NYCBG
    @NYCBG 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I too was baffled by this. I mean, black Queen is there for the taking by the rook. What's the story here??? And the continuation would be devastating for black with white's Queen and bishop descending on the unprotected black King.

  • @сергей-ш8д8э
    @сергей-ш8д8э 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    what about on 3:41 bishop takes pawn on h7+ and then checkmate or I miss something, don't be strict if I miss something, all I know about chess is derivative from your videos, like all your vids

    • @kkkbuta5

      it's actually really good, some people remember lines by saying them out loud and also it's practice for blindfold chess

    At 4:00, why not capture queen with rook?

    • @LeMasterYi
      @LeMasterYi 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because is the same thing in the end.You still trade rook for queen but if u take with rook in that situation black's center control gets better and if you see the final difference you will realise that it is better for you in general if you don't take the queen with your rook and instead push with your pawn.

    • @avanticorpo

      Yeah Kasparov is so good it only took him two decades to break Fischer’s peak elo record with the help of the Soviet school of chess and weaker competition 😂 - Fischer kicked Commie butts with no real help - if he had access to modern engine prep he would be unstoppable
