Rocket Man is close to 50 years old now, and Elton's and Sara's versions of it reflect the difference in eras.
Both are great, and I love this refreshing update of a modern classic.

Marcin Patrzałek - another great talented Polish artist. He can do whatever he likes with classical music and everyone is impressed (Bach, Beethoven, Paganini - these are real classics). He's a guitarist, btw... but you definatelly need to hear him. Yesterday, he released his new rendition of Fur Elise (Beethoven)

Very start of the song - choir - gave me the feeling of the emptyness of the cosmic space. But Sara"s arrangement transformed this song and now its about being lonely not in the cosmic space, but in the crowd, among the other people. Now this song is about loneliness in the big, big world aka "cosmos", and we are all rocket men, having our own cosmic journey through it.

It reminds me of Jimi Hendrix's cover of "All Along The Watchtower". Bob Dylan, while writing it, didn't know that he was creating a song for Jimi Hendrix, who would reveal all its potential. Same thing here. Elton John didn't know that he was writing a song for a 14-year-old girl from Poland who would sing it half a century after him. A pity it is a shortened version.

She is 14 and she is from Poland. Since PGT is stupied nothing compare to AGT or BGT she decided to went to AGT. Her mum is seeting in the public blond hair lady well if you watch whole video with judges comentary, she was Simon Golden Buzzar. And She alredy was in The Voice Kids Polland winner, Eurovision for kids, AGT only make it all bigger.

It’s ballsy to reinterpret a classic rock anthem - especially one by Sir Elton John. Lotta people can sing - but not so many with high artistry IQ like this. She reminds me of Ellish. In terms of this arrangement I loved the stripped down first part much better than the second dance party section. I think she needed to change it up but I think she could have made a better musical decision on the arrangement of that 2nd half. Maybe it’s the drum machine that bugs me I’d like to hear it without the drum machine.

She is gifted for sure however she has been handed "the win" by Simon. Mics were clearly messed up on other performers.
There were problems with her mic as well. I thought it was a good song choice, and very interesting interpretation, but I was troubled with the performance, because I know she *can* do even better, she seemed a bit nervous and never full let go. If she get's over some jitters, watch out!
And one more, so boring as I have said before, nothing new under the sun with thosev lookalikes singers..Sorry but time to find( again) true personalities like miss Angelina Jordan.
