Liked this track for years, but before this vid it never occurred to me it might be a 4-channel one. Masterful channel usage here - gives the impression of much more polyphony. :)
This is the song of his that inspires me the most. I'm actually thinking on installing FastTracker, FamiTracker doesn't have the best sounds, and the conmands are complicated; I can get around the commands and learn them though. I don't care how old fast tracker is, it's mine now! >:3
The commands for FamiTracker are the same for FastTracker ][, but the layout is quite different. I'd recommend using MilkyTracker for the best modern playback as newer systems with Windows 8+ do not run MS-DOS anymore.
Hi, I'm back. I think the best way for you to do this is actually download MilkyTracker, a clone version of FT][ but is much more useful because it can run natively on your system.
@@xracecar Yo, also important to mention is that there's a faithful clone of FT2 which came out in late 2019, based on the original source code, runs on windows/mac/linux! 16-bits.org/ft2.php
@@DataAirlinesRecords Oh? There seems to be some mention in the instrument list / credits ;) Or was it written FOR a certain person but not actually ABOUT them? 🤔
@@markpenrice6253 wrote it for Viruz666 from Scoopex because he needed it for something for Scoopex, cant remember what, installer maybe. the name is a bad joke that is too complicated to explain for a none swede but the Kenny who is referenced in the title was a demoparty orga back in the early 00s who was really good at skating in flipflops, I think his handle was K2-ICE.
@@Dubmood_Music Haha, OK, no worries. I have a tendency to overanalyse things maybe and find weird conclusions from tiny details ;) Thanks for the info drop. Funnily when I translated the name waybackwhen, Google decided it was slippers rather than flip-flops, but it has generally proven very bad at Swedish-English so that's no surprise. Still kinda works, though I'd say flip-flops require more skill as they have more grip... (reminds me, I should see if it's got any better and may be able to make proper sense of some others now)
@@Dubmood_Music 15 years after first hearing this song, i finally get to read the backstory! i remember seeing you perform this live at kafe44 back in '07. Thanks for lots of great music :D

When you keep deconstructing this song, you just find more hidden gems
"Dubmood" didn't tip you off?
Aleksander Budzynowski dubmood does a lot of stuff, not just 4 channel mods. I assumed it has more channels because it’s so well done.
wasn't expecting to see you here. Your One Must Fall 2097 remix is awesome.
This is the best, going back here to just nostalgia fest from time to time

xracecar If you are willing to install Dosbox, that should not be a problem.
