the end result,and satisfaction of seeing it clean i always find rewarding. as nice as the decorations are, they are dust collectors .. it takes a while to adapt after the decorations have been took, as everywhere always seems bare afterwards - i love christmas,oh well ..only 360 days to go .. lol .. happy new year to you all,and looking forward to many more great videos in 2022 x
Thank God I'm not the only one who took Xmas decorations down Tuesday after Christmas. My 3 brothers are like your hubby Chris, they get stuck in to cleaning, one of their wives said that my brother is better at ironing than her. Your home is beautiful however the main thing Kerry is it is a lived in home. The boys are getting bigger every time you post a new video!! Happy New year to you and your family. Definitely taking the decorations down before new year next time. Watching your video made it feel so fresh and clean for new year and how nice going back to work after new year knowing it’s all done and don’t have to do it after work. Means Ill then be able to concentrate on exercising again and eating well instead of sorting out the house in the first week in the new year. I like your thinking.

Taking down the decorations and cleaning is the next job on my list, not until after NY day though because that’s when I will have just about mustered enough energy to do it! I’d really recommend an automatic vacuum/floor mopping robot. We have hard floors on the whole of our ground floor and it drives me mad having to do double duty….vacuum and mop 😂 We bought our ‘Little Dude’ last year and it’s much easier because he can be doing the floors whilst I do another job elsewhere. It a Venga and came from Amazon for about £170…and I love him as much as my 2 and 4 legged babies 😂😂😂

No we love the Dyson but when doing a massive clean up like this one we always use the Karcher as it’s plug in so doesn’t run out of battery.. we use our Dyson daily for spot cleaning and for hoovering upstairs :) xxx

We keep ours up until 12th night. But mine don’t go up until week to 2 weeks before Christmas 🌿 Happy New Year
