I've been using this method of striking a ferro rod for years. It's not as impressive as a shower of sparks but it definitely is the best way. Thank you for showing this! (Subbed)
It dose, well it is futher north, but because of the Gulf stream, were are a lot warmer than compare to the same lattitude in US, I have been living in Oregon and that to was kind of the same, Though we have a lot more Birch and Willow than there were in Oregon Best regards Thorbjørn
