Thanks for the video , the hardest part was taking the old one out It was basically fused together to the bracket but all in all it took me less than 1 hour to figure it out,not bad for a rookie lol
How come there isn't any videos of where the evap canister and evap canister vent valve is located for a 2000-2005 Buick LeSabre? The purge valve is an exposed no-brainer but the other two are hiding, not sure if they're in the front engine compartment or in the rear close to the fuel tank
😅hey thanks we are 72 and 70 and put it on ourselves with the Lord's help we got it on...cost of part 40.00 at Oreilly auto parts in Missouri ❤hey everybody please ask Jesus into your heart today while you still have time ❤
my dad has a '04 LeSabre that I'm borrowing for work (my current car which is a '96 Corolla needs a new battery then insurance & registration to be road legal) & I started it up one day & it has a random misfire all of a sudden the air filter, plugs, wires, & coil packs were replaced but still has a misfire all 6 injectors are fine cause they all made that clicking sound when I used a very long flathead to hear it (like a doctor using a stethoscope to hear a heartbeat) & none of them weren't dead silent
Wow doesn't get any easier then this. My next project is the upstream o2 sencer. Then the convertor, yeah oh boy all original on my 2001 lesabre. Thanks can't wait for my content. 👋🤘
my grand prix had code po446. i checked evap solenoid ,,it had damaged hose on solenoid. i unplugged it first and replaced rubber hose. about 2 in. hose. i put everything back together and erased code. it is really running alit better now. i hope i fixed and code stays ( off) opinion any one?
The first hose you connect on the new one... is it supposed to be snug?? Mine is loose and I can spin it around. I also feel like a pulsing feeling through the hoses connected to my new purge solonoid. Is that normal. My gas cap loose light and service engine soon light are both on still. This thing is driving me crazy. Please help?!
My problem is not the vaper cannister purge solenoid since I still have vacuum from the right side tube. I bought a new gas cap from the dealer. What else can it be then that I got the code "gas cap loose"?
Thank you very much for such a clear video. ( The left side hose ( the connector purge valve hose ) was so brittle it snapped like it was made out of chalk as soon as I touched it.) I see yours is wrapped in electrical tape also. Is that good enough, or do I need to get a new hose set ?

Amazing explaining skills did it in less than 10 minutes thank you sir
Looks easy enough. Just had this code appear at the same time as 02 sensor bank 1. Gas mileage has been down lately. Very good video, thank you!

I have a 2002 century and the evap canister line broke. I can't find anywhere that sells the line that goes into the can part.

you probably should have put the oil cap back on ti prevent things from falling in

Same thing happened to mine. I happened to have some silicone tubing that fit and I just zip tied the ends
On my 2000 Park Avenue, this canister is BEHIND the engine... not in the front. I wonder why the difference.
What do u do if the part is stuck in place
I’m sure my 05’ LeSabre will out last my neighbors. 2020 Kia. These motors were built to last.
Great video, mine was unit was really stuck on, a lot of wiggleing back and forth, several minutes worth, but it eventually came off.
Thank you do much for this video, I had been looking on how to.do this for some time as some evap valves are located elsewhere.
so does this apply to the Code :P0442
i know it does for po446. probably 442 also.
How about P0440?
YOU DA MAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fairly similar to 02 3.1 g.prix.
I wish I had whatever year that is I got so excited. No clue where mine is.
