I’ve had the Rhinoshield Solidsuit for my last 3 iPhones and I love them. They do mark pretty easy if you end up rubbing them on your keys etc. the fit is the best I’ve ever seen in any case.
Hi there Kat! I am glad you found it useful! I have to say, they are very similar but I was pleasantly surprised by the RhinoShield. I still think the Mous has a fantastic design but if I was to buy another one, I would consider their other materials rather than the aramid fibre - due to the fingerprint/grease marks that I am getting now. Have a lovely day 🙏
@@AlexGTech yes! The grease looks... annoyInG. Lol especially ’cuz corona is still a thing and Grease looks unpleasant and unsanitary in a way? But anyways thank you! You too.
@@AlexGTech ya!! I did get the Rhinoshield but in their Dark oak, and was honestly quite disappointed in that cases quality, flat, low res wood decal that started peeling and got greasy after a week, so i’ll probably return it and get a mouse in the walnut!
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words! I’m working on the Samsung S21 Ultra soon, will you guys have any Limitless or clear options for that device? Would love to try that!
I personally own the rhino shield solid suit foriphone and Samsung... it is one of the best cases I have ever owned with the extra that it looks absolutely stunning! This is a great brand with great protection highly recommended!
I have to agree with you there, it is a great looking case and I love the fact that it doesn't collect any fingerprints. Thanks for watching and have a lovely weekend! 👊
Thank you, I’ve used mous case limitless 2.0 for two years on an iPhone 8. The limitless 3.0 for the 12 mini is slightly heftier than I expected. My experience with the previous version was great, I’m in a commercial delivery job where drops from 7-10 feet to concrete happen. Each drop I would think, “yep, that’s the drop that broke it” and I would find it it’s was fine. I highly recommend the Mous products as well. Great video, thank you for the content. Be well.
Hi there, thanks for the kind words and glad you enjoyed it. I must say, these cases are built like tanks. As the old saying goes.. you get what you paid for and I am with you, have dropped my 11 Pro Max a few times and luckily Mous saved my wallet 😂 Even the case itself only has very minor scratches. And the bonus is now I can sell the 11 Pro Max at the best value given its pristine condition. win win :D - have a great day and thanks for watching 👊
Keep up the great work! With your integrity, professionalism and reasonable not distracting charm. I see this channel getting millions of subscribers. I recently discovered this channel, now I will check your channel to see your valuable informed/informative opinion as I am looking for worthwhile iPhone accessories. Thanks, I know at this stage it's not about the money. So lucky customers who discover this channel are the real winners. Thank you very much!
Hello there! And thank you so very much for these kind words. I’m not just saying that as a ‘canned response’ but genuinely thankful for your feedback. You have made my day better, you have given me more inspiration to continue creating. You’re absolutely right, at this stage I’m 100% focused on my community and learning what brings value to you. Hopefully it will become a sustainable channel but even if it doesn’t, I’m happy to have helped some people in their purchasing decisions or answering a question they may had. Wishing you a wonderful weekend! 🙏🏽
Rhinoshield all the way! Their buttons r hands down the best. Feels like clicking the actual buttons of the iPhone. Not a fan of the buttons on the mous case where. Does feel a little mushy plus dust and debris can enter the gaps at the buttons. Had the mous case and was constantly taking it off to clean the button areas. Was worried that the buttons will get scratched with all that dirt in there. Eventually switched to rhinoshield and it was the best decision ever made!
My favourites are Mous, Nomad and Casetify. Casetify are a channel sponsors by the way, for full transparency. But I was a customer and bought their cases way before making videos about them. If I had to choose one... Mous.
Thanks man, yes it’s incredible how the videos with least production effort sometimes do better than the ones I turned myself inside out to produce 😂 still it’s all part of the YT fun!
Hi there Dominick! Right now I am leaning towards the RhinoShield mainly because of the way it doesnt collect any grease but I still do love the Mous, but for the 12 Pro Max, maybe consider their other materials like the walnut one which looks great, I have a link to it here in the description. Hope this helps! 🙏 If you have any more questions do let me know and I will do my best to answer 👊
I had been back and forth and decided on the mous clear case and the rhinoshield 3d edge screen protector earlier today but still continued to research, glad I did because you just confirmed my initial decision. Yes I know the process for screen protector is annoying but I NEED THE PROTECTION so Im willing to take on the challenge! The mous case Looks to have the best protection hands down IMO. Thank you so so much for your review! Im on my way to order my products 👍🏼😊
Hiya, yes I have to agree with you there. I don't know why but I keep going back to my Mous case, especially when I am going out of the house. It is built really well around the corners and I just feel quite confident if I was to drop the phone with this case. I am really glad this helped in your decision, that's the sort of feedback that keeps me going! Have a great weekend! 👊
Hi Nikhil, thank you! Yes sometimes companies send me free stuff which I review but most of what I review is purchased by myself. If you do purchase these products using my links I do get a small percentage back which helps me with keeping the channel going, but yes I will always keep it very transparent for my viewers so they know whether I bought something or received it for free 👊🏽 have a great rest of the week 🙏🏽
@@Embassador4Peace Rhino has great design aesthetics but I personally always go back to Mous, especially if I am going out where the phone might drop in concrete/hard surfaces. I did a video on the Limitless 4.0 as well which actually looks more similar to the Rhinoshield inside. Mous removed the lining on the 4.0 which I initially didn't like but so far so good. If you want to check that video out here is a link: th-cam.com/video/vWBRZqTcM58/w-d-xo.html
Hi there, no it doesn’t. Mous covers the rim of the phone. It doesn’t interfere with screen protectors but you won’t be able to see the frame. Hope this helps and thanks so much for watching! Have a great rest of the week 🙏🏽

Hi there, that walnut version looks 🔥!! Was thinking about that one myself. And agree, it can be a little slippery so would definitely recommend a screen protector as well. Thanks for watching and have a lovely week! 🙏🏽
Hi Roger, first of all thanks for watching! And you are absolutely right! I was being a bit of a noob there 😂The comparison wasn't that fair as the locked phone would show the animation. Sorry about that... However, I was also watching for the top right hand corner battery sign which changes when the battery is plugged in and the MagSafe sound should still chime. Additionally there should also be a tiny haptic feedback even when the phone is on silent which I was not getting straight away with the Mous case, it's only after a few tries that I was able to. I mean, it's not the end of the world as it does charge the phone but it's just not as straight forward as other cases. I have been trying the latest Pitaka cases as well which have a really good magnetic connection now. If you want to check that out for comparison here is the latest, with MagSafe timestamps too so you can jumpt straight into it :-) th-cam.com/video/eMxTmPb9skk/w-d-xo.html Have a great day Roger, and thanks again for watching 🙏
Hi there! Thank you so much for the kind words. Yes both brands offer great quality products. I am always going back to Mous cases. I've reviewed their latest Limitless 4.0 version which you might want to check out as they made some changes now to accommodate MagSafe accessories that you may be interested in. They also removed the interior lining on the 4.0 (they still have it on the 3.0 though). That video is here: th-cam.com/video/vWBRZqTcM58/w-d-xo.html Have a great rest of the week 🙏
Funny I don't have a wireless charging issues with my Mous case I have been using it for years! I have all the Mous cases for my latest mobile my S20 ultra does the rhino have the magnets in it?
I am using a S21 Ultra now but I had the 12 Pro Max since launch for about 8 months and didnt notice any problems with Mous interfering with the stabilisation.
Hi, I recently bought iphone 13 pro and looking for a good case that will protect the phone from drops and in your experience should I go for rhino or mous, kindly reply thanks
Both feel pretty similar. Mous is bulkier but it has a nicer interior lining which protects the phone better so it's a bit of a compromise, but not much between them to be honest!
If you like real materials and want a bit extra protection I’d go for Mous. Just consider other styles as the aramid fibre is a bit of a fingerprint magnet! It does cleanup easily but may annoy some people, it certainly annoys me. I don’t remember braving this issue with the 11 version. If you want a bit more grip at the back of the case and you’re not worried that it is not as strong material then I’d go for RhinoShield. Both are great cases, it’s just a question of type of protection and different materials. Hope this helps you! Have a great weekend 🙏🏽
Which case do you feel is grippier and which do you think will offer more protection? I’m looking to switch from an otterbox commuter and wanted a thinner case and I believe both will offer comparable protection but just wanted your opinion
grippier = Rhino more protection = Mous. I will say though... Mouse 4.0 is now thinner (feels a bit like the Rhino) and because is lighter it may feel grippier. I had some viewers saying that they found the 4.0 grippier than 3.0. I did a video on the Limitless 4.0 here if you want to check it out: th-cam.com/video/vWBRZqTcM58/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps 🙏
Hi there, exact same width but the RhinoShield has slightly 'squarer' edges as it doenst have the same extra padding on the sides. Mous has Airshock which is basically extra protection on the side hence slightly rounder, but same width. Thanks for watching and hope this helps 👊
Very good comparison video with a really cool intro. The air bubbles will almost certainly have been caused by dust still on the phone screen or the protector itself after you removed the first protective layer. I always use a can of compressed air and give it a few blasts on both before applying and no longer experience that problem. Looking forward to watching a lot more of your content. Keep up the great work. 👍🏻 Many thanks.
Thanks so much for the feedback and the kind words! Yes, I agree - the air bubbles were totally my fault. Amazing really how quickly after cleaning the screen dust get back in there. Also not helped by me using microfibres cloth beforehand as I think that creates static... living and learning 😂 Thanks so much again, and looking forward to putting out more videos! Right now I have some Pitaka, Spigen and ESR cases to review as well as the Apple Airpods Max, coverage of the CES21 next week and some home automation stuff! It's going to be a busy January!
They work but don’t connect strongly and generate quite a bit of heat because of that so I wouldn’t recommend it really after learning that heat is bad for the battery life. So I’d either look for one of their MagSafe compatible ones or remove from the case to charge which is a pain really…
Yes it really is. It’s slightly stiffer than the Rhino but not by much. What I would say is to take a look at Mous different material options as the aramid fibre seems to be quite fingerprint-y 😂 I have a link to the different options in the description. Have a nice day 👊🏽
Hey thanks for the video ! I'm a bit late, but do you know if the 3d impact is compatible with a mouse case ? I prefer the 3D cover of the rhinoshield, but i also prefer the case from Mouse because of the MagSafe compatiblity. Thanks for the answer if you have it !
Yes they worked together in the 12 Pro Max. I haven’t tried it with the 13 Pro Max yet but I assume so. Currently I’m using a Nomad screen protector which works with all the cases I reviewed for the 13. If I try the 3D again I will make sure to do a video on it 👊🏼
Hi there, I do like the style of the RhinoShield but I keep going back to the Mous case when I’m not reviewing other cases. Especially if I’m going out on a walk or anywhere that I might risk dropping the phone. What I would say though is that this version is not as grippy as other models from Mous so I might consider their other materials as well. Other viewers have said the same about the aramid fibre back being less grippy than others. As it uses real materials it’s a nice compromise though as I know from experience on my 11 Pro Max that my phone will be well protected. Hope this helps and thanks for watching! 🙏🏽
One thing that I didn’t see he mention is that Mous uses real carbon fiber on the back their case (hence the smoothness and more finger prints) and Rhinoshield is textured to look like carbon fiber. In my opinion, Rhinoshield is slippery compared to Mous. Also Rhinoshield more protective because it’s a little more flexible outer impact can disperse more than being a one solid piece of meta like Mous which the impact go straight to the whole thing. That’s my experience when trying to two. Btw, love your videos
Hey Stephen! I totally agree with you that I should have mentioned that the Mous case uses real material in all their cases. Having used the 11 Pro Max version of the aramid fibre I do feel it’s a tad more slippery in comparison. I still love the case and I like the extra front protection on the elevated corners as well. The RhinoShield has a lovely style but is a bit softer. It’s a tricky one, both are very similar but one more prone to fingerprint/grease than the other, and one perhaps with more premium materials but maybe as you say that goes against the impact protection. I am switching between the two and also comparing other cases so time will tell and if I come across any major issues I will be sure to share an update video. Thanks so much for watching, hope you will like my next videos which will include Apple and Spiegen cases as well. Have a great weekend! 👊🏽
Hi Alex, first of all: thanks, your reviews are really helpful. Quick question: which case is best in terms of camera lens protection? RhinoShield or Mous? I mean, which one boasts the greater distance between the lenses’ surface and the edge of the case? Thanks and keep going like this.
Hey Carlo! Thanks so much for the kind words! It really means a lot as I am still learning this YT thing 😂 Glad you liked it. RIght, the RhinoShield has a slight advantage on this. Without getting the precision tools out (which I dont have 😂). I can tell you that there is a camera module lip on the Rhino that means when you put the phone down, the lenses are further away from the surface than when you put the Mous case down. Mous still has some protection as the camera module protection is a 'recess' type rather than the 'protrusion' type like the Rhino. But the Rhino for me looks the better protection in that area, but only very slightly. It's a really good question though and I was so intrigued that I just had to try both cases again now and will post a photo of it on my Twitter (@alexgtech1) so you can see it. Hope this helps! have a great day 👊
Here is the link to the tweet: twitter.com/alexgtech1/status/1333016830219341824?s=21 Hope it helps. (it's pretty close between them I think, let me know what you think!)
@@AlexGTech hi, carefully watching both the photos it’s difficult to say which one is more protective for the lenses. It’s about two opposite approaches, one recessing and the other one protruding. At the end of the day, despite the presence of the lip on the Rhino I’d almost say there’s more gap with the Mous. What do you think? Thank you very much and waiting for Spigen review. Best,
Using a Rhinoshield Solidsuit in White on my Silver iPhone 12 Pro Max. Been using Rhinoshield on my phones for some time now. Wish they sorted out the cut out size and alignment out though, otherwise seems to a good case and the white staying white so far but for how long ...
Hey Charlie, thanks for watching! Yes I do like the RhinoShield as well and have been switching between the two for the past few days, it is a top case. I didn’t realise they had a white! That sounds great, will look it up! And great that is staying white as well 😂 have a good one! 👊🏾
Hi Josh, wow - I am so sorry for not responding to this, I just realised it.I'd recommend the protector from Mous actually, the application is easy and really good quality to the touch too.
Hi Russel - This is embarrassing, how did I miss this comment? I am so sorry! Rhino definitely do great designs and offer great value for money. Mous for me is about protection and peace of mind. Apologies again for the delay in getting back to you!
I’ve recently bought the Mous 4.0 speckled for my iPhone 13 pro but I think it’s a bit sharp and slippery for my hands kinda difficult to handle..do you think that I could switch to rhino? Or any other brand? I only care about protection
Hi there. That speckled case is probably their least slippery for me 😂 For protection, Mous are the top in my opinion. But if you are looking for more comfortable cases to hold, I'd say the spigen cases I just reviewed are a good alternative. Casetify also have decent options. Check my latest video and the links in there for discounts and other videos. Hope this helps!
Hello, I loved your video, I have a question, which one do you think is better for the iPhone 11? I had an iPhone XR with the mous case, it felt like it protected very well, but I want to know the rhinoshield, take advantage of the fact that today is Black Friday, which one do you recommend that will protect it better? And which one has the best screen protector? Thank you very much
Hi Oskar, thanks for watching! I used the Mous Limitless 3.0 on my 11 Pro Max since September last year! I couldnt recommend enough, I did try the Apple leather case for a couple of weeks in between but went straight back to Mous. The iPhone 11 version of this case is amazing and still going strong with barely no scratches as you can probably see from my other video on the Mous case for the 12 Pro Max, I do a bit of a comparison there too. The Rhinoshield is not real material, but looks great whereas Mous are much more solid, for me it offers the best protection! Here is a link to it, in case its cheaper on Amazon. Good luck and happy shopping! iPhone 11 - geni.us/ICoUaGs 11 Pro - geni.us/JEug9 11 Pro Max - geni.us/JoTQsR
Hi Mohammed, yes Rhino is slimmer for sure. But...watch my video that I will release tomorrow as I have a possible solution for you! They are both great cases but Mous uses real materials and they have an inside lining (on this 3.0 version) that adds a little bit more of bulk.
@@Yameen1 hey Mohammed! Thanks so much, that literally made my day 🙏🏽 really appreciate the kind words 👊🏽 hope I can keep bringing content that you will enjoy 😉
I have both the Mous and Rhinoshield, both in "carbon fibre". Rhinoshield is a lot easier to remove compared to Mous (doesn't mean it'll come off easily upon impact.) Also gotta point out the coating on the back of the carbon fibre Mous case comes off after a couple of months and it's just nasty at that point because it becomes so sticky. Whereas the Rhinoshield is just great as new after 4 months!
oh no! I've had my Aramid fiber on the 11 Pro Max for 12 months exactly and whilst it did get a bit battered, the coating didn't come off. I went for the leather version now, which is my favourite so far. Thanks for checking this video out 👊
Mous case is a cheat. All these cases begin to "separate" right down the middle. Clarity Case not only separates, it loses the black color around the Case. The only good thing about the Mous case is the design. The quality? Terrible. I would go for Rhinoshield products for a lifetime!
@@shotbymarlozan Hey Marlon, that is good to know. I haven't tried the Clarity cases yet. Speaking as a limitless 3.0 and 4.0 user I haven't seen this but I guess they're quite different. From a quality perspective though, I am still as impressed now as I was when I first started using Mous products. By the way, I am not sponsored by them and they never sent me anything for free to review - I am speaking as a customer first, tech reviewer second. For me they always delivered on their promise which is to protect my phone, I dropped my 11 Pro Max and 12 Pro Max now more times than I care to admit but as soon as I drop it I am confident that the case will do its job. I accidentally dropped my 11 Pro Max into a swimming pool once, the phone died instantly and the case lived for months after that...They are not perfect, there are flaws but that's true of every brand. I like RhinoShield cases too, they are solid cases with great protection and design, especially the carbon fiber style ones, love those. Definitely recommend reaching out to Mous customer service though, they really listen and care about customer feedback. Have a good one 👊
Both excellent cases in different areas but Mous is my favourite, it’s so durable. Some materials on the Mous are not as grippy as the RhinoShield but protection wise, Mous is just great
Hi there, and thanks for the kind words 🙏 To be honest I think that is unlikely but I haven't tried it. The reason I say that is because the magnetic plates on this case are specifically placed in areas that suit Mous other accessories like their own charger and leather wallet. I do know someone in the community who has the ESR car charger so I will see if I can get more info. Have a great day 👊
Hi there, thanks for coming back! I think I remember you from a previous video! Yes, on Amazon they have this 16 color pack: geni.us/fmRwXD The ones from Rhinoshield are much cheaper though as you can buy it as a single color. Hope this helps! Have a great week! 👊
i need honesty what’s the best one for impact and overall protection? mous or rhino shield and if there’s any other recommendations that are better than these in impact protection please let me know asap
Hi there. Mous for me offers more protective features. RhinoShield is great too but Mous goes a bit extra in their design. Another case you might want to check out is Casetify Ultra Impact. I just did a drop test video on them: th-cam.com/video/8QWvp9QbdLI/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps 👊🏽
His answer is sponsored af Mous advertisement on the video too lmao They are both shit for protection. There is a guy who tested them with real situation drop like falling out of your pocket while walking down tiled stairs etc. and glass broke on both sides …. BOTH SIDES. Even though it’s supposed to be so great. Sure next time I throw my iPhone from a helicopter inknow it’ll be good. But if it ever falls outta your hand while you’re holding it at your bellybutton height…. Say goodbye
so which one do you think is better i think the mous because it has more features and protects better but the rhino sheild is cheaper, but again its better to be safe than sorry
Hi there, thanks for watching! For protection I'd say Mous is hands down the better case. Speaking from experience of using it on my 11 Pro Max for a year and dropping it a few times I can say this case saved my wallet more than once for sure! The RhinoShield is great too, and has a better looking style at the back (bearing in mind Mous uses real materials and Rhino uses plastic). I'd say go Mous if you can and consider their other materials (this Aramid fibre is quite fingerprint-y this year) and if you don't want to spend that much on a case, consider Rhinoshield or even the Spigen Tough Armour (I did a video on that too). Hope this helps and have a lovely week! 🙏
Thanks for the comparison! I'd have preferred if the review was less about aesthetics and ease of installation and more about the functionality of the cases and screen protectors. It doesn't really matter if one is harder to apply if it does a better job protecting the device.
Hola!
I’m getting my iPhone 12 pro max tomorrow and I don’t know what case/screen protector to get! I care mostly about drop/scratch protection, but not MagSafe or rough edges or any of that stuff. What do you recommend I get? You can recommend any screen protector/case on the market
Hi Charlie thanks for watching! I would definitely recommend the Hybrid glass screen protector. In terms of case my favourite is still the Mous limitless but I’d consider their other materials not the aramid fiber, as it’s not as grippy as it was with the 11 Pro Max. My second favourite is the Spigen Tough Armor which is less bulky (check out my other video on that) but they’re probably not as protective as the Mous case. Good luck and enjoy your new phone! 🙏🏽
@@AlexGTech ive been on the Spigen Tough Armor would you say the Mous would be the better option for drop protection and anything else you may think of ? I am thinking of putting a magnet on the back to mount in the car. Do you feel it would work with this case or the Spigen ? You also mentioned less bulky is the Mous case more bulky i always felt the Spigen is a tad bulky. Thanks for the great review!
@@marcwebber909 Hi Marc, first of all thanks for watching! Mous has slightly more protective features, especially around in the sides. The cushioning on the side (the green bits inside the case) feel like they would really help in drops. I've used Mous on my 11 Pro Max and dropped it a few times and I am really happy that I don't have a scratch on the phone. also internally, the lining inside the Mous case protecting the back of the phone feels a lot more premium. I do like the Rhinoshield and the fact it is slightly grippier at the back, but Mous uses real materials (rather than plastic) so I think it's more durable at the end of the day. The magnet question... I've had those before, the ones that go between the case and the pone right? Depending on the size it might be ok as the Mous case has four magnetic plates quite spread out around the edges. The only thing to be careful is of course with the MagSafe element on the phones, I am not sure how those magnets would work or if they would interfere with Magsafe/wireless charging at all but sounds like they might be ok. Some 3rd party brands are building car mounts that have the MagSafe element in them so that might be a better option. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions. 🙏
@@AlexGTech Appreciate the response ! Im very close to pushing the trigger on this case. I did come across a video where they dropped a bunch of iphones and sadly the Mous case failed but i dont plan on dropping my phone 10+ feet in the air. I think it'll do just fine for normal use.
@@marcwebber909 yeah I tend to agree, this thing is a beast. The closest I got to a similar protection is the ‘Pitaka MagEZ case Pro 2’ that case is also a beast but considerably chunkier. I will be doing a video on it soon (have been using that for a week) but yeah, quite bulky!
I had mouse case on my iPhone XS for about two years. It’s great case but little slippery. It landed on the floor couple of times just because of that. I also had rhinoshield on my pixel 4a. Also great case. The only thing that I didn’t like was the buttons. You had to press pretty hard in order to change volume.
your rhinoshield definitely had a defect. the buttons are arguably the best on any case because theyre not attached to the case allowing for the clicks to be raw from the phone.
Hi Eric, so sorry I never responded. Yeah they are pretty easy to wipe off but you definitely need to do it, especially on the Aramid fibre version. Apologies again, not sure how I missed this comment 🤦♂️
I personally think the Mous has an edge (only slightly) when it comes to protection given the raised edges on the corners. But both are fantastic. thanks for watching and have a great day 👊
Interesting comparison and another quality video 🔥 How does the rhinoshield screen protector hold up against scratches? FYI, my mous case has a small defect where the side just above the front facing camera doesn’t quite fully cover the edge of the phone. I gave my feedback to Mous and they are sending me a replacement. Awesome customer service.
Hi Terence ✋🏽 That’s great that they’re else doing you a replacement, they are brilliant! This screen protector is holding up ok but only been 2 days so time will tell, it feels great despite my air bubbles issue they’re still there if I really look for them but want to keep it for a couple of weeks at least. I like that when I don’t have a case on the sides don’t feel so harsh like the Mous Hybrid Glass protector. Thanks for checking it out 👊🏽😊
@@AlexGTech do you often use the phone without a case? I get stressed when my phone is not in a case 😅 I sell off my older devices a while after I get new ones as I don’t see any value in holding on to older tech, hence I try to keep my devices in as good condition as possible.
@@terencetan236 😂 yeah I get stressed out too, but I don’t do it that often to be honest, but doing quite a few videos with different cases so sometimes I forget to put it back, but never leave the house without a case
Hiya, no sadly they are sold separately. Same thing with the RhinoShield. Both are great quality but the hybrid glass comes with two protectors and better (in my opinion) applicator tools. Thanks for watching and hope you have a lovely day! 👊🏽
Great video man! I had the same rhinoshield case for the galaxy s10 plus and it definitely got greasy. Also my phone would move around within the case as if it was the wrong size which is weird. One thing I will say is that rhinoshield protected my phone! I never had any damage and I dropped my phone a lot lol. And I am not sure if you made a video of it yet, but check out spigens screen protector. You don’t have to worry about aligning it because it does it for you.
Hi there, thanks so much for the kind words and that's a great idea on the Spigen screen protector. I am reviewing a couple of Spigen cases soon but would love to try something a little easier to align 😂 It might be just me though as other videos suggest the 3D Impact was easy to install but maybe they were meant to say that whereas I simply struggled with the air bubbles, some of them are still there... thanks for watching and looking forward to sharing more stuff that you find useful. Have a great day 🙏
Haha I always had someone else put on all my screen protectors because I suck at it lol. But you won’t be disappointed with spigens! I have it on now for the 12 pro max. It was easy to install. And again great video! Have a good one!
@@AlexGTech I really like some of the designs that RhinoShield offers, so I ended up going with one of those. On top of that mous does not have any cases for my phone 😄
Oh wow thank you Kesh! Really appreciate the kind words and glad the review was useful! It means a lot, especially as I am still learning this TH-cam thing! Have a great day 🙏
hiya, yes it does. At the time of this video they hadn’t launched the 4.0. I did a review of it too, including a drop test if you are interested 😉 have a great rest of the week!
Hi there, for protection the Mous case has better features, the sides of the case have this green material and that is also in other parts of the case. RhinoShield is great and will protect against drops but not to the same extent as Mous. I would still recommend a screen protector though, don’t trust that Ceramic Shield from apple 😂 have a great rest of weekend
The RhinoShield case will work with MagSafe but I wouldn't bother to be honest. I only got the MagSafe charger because I review tech but find the cable is too short and it's not really solving any problems for me. Plus it triggers me that it doesn't come with a charging brick! I charge my phone overnight so whether it takes 2 or 4 hours it's ok for me. Thanks for watching Ryan! have a great rest of the day 🙏
It’s interesting that the Rhinoshield’s buttons weren’t great for you. They’re the gold standard for me, I haven’t found a case that’s quite as clicky and easy to press. The Otterbox Aneu is one of the few that can compare. The Mous’s buttons in comparison were really stiff.
Yes I think you’re right David., After a couple of days now I’m really enjoying them! I also like the touch of colour we can add on them, it’s a nice addition. I still like the Mous but I think I’d go for a different material as the Aramid fibre is really fingerprint sensitive now, it wasn’t like that on the 11 Pro Max. Anyway, thanks for watching and have a lovely day/evening!
@@AlexGTech I tried the walnut on the Mous. It looked nice, but wood just gets scratched and dinged too easily. As many cases as I’ve tried, I always seem to come back to Rhinoshield. I appreciate the comparison, I feel like these are 2 brands people should look at for protective cases.
Hi there. It does indeed! And the same goes for the Mous Hybrid glass, it works with the RhinoShield Impact 3D. Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend 👊🏽
hi there! how do you like it? I really like the texture at the back, it makes it a little more grippier than the Mous case for me. Thanks for watching 🙏
Hi there, the RhinoShield is slightly thinner. I’ve also posted a photo on my Twitter feed comparing the Mous to the Apple silicone case as another viewer had asked a similar question, if you want to take a look: twitter.com/alexgtech1/status/1338105653018169349?s=21 Have a great day
Hey Audu! Yeah I can totally see myself going back to it after trying a few more cases. I am liking the RhinoShield and the Spiegen as well. Disappointed with Apple's despite the MagSafe. Thanks for watching dude, really appreciate the support 👊

Yes you can! In fact that’s what I’m using most days. The only problem I have is the 3D impact protector was quite tricky to install for me. It it has a lovely feel to it (it’s almost like it’s not there) and on the edges it’s curved so again a nice feel if you’re ever using the phone without a case. Hope this helps! Have a lovely day 🙏🏽

Perhaps the reason it didn't align properly on the charger is because Mous has it's own magnetic charging system, thus the auto align feature embossed on the inside of the Mous case.
Hi Anthony! Yes, that’s is right. I’ve done more reviews since then and you’re absolutely right. Mous magnets are placed in a rectangular shape. The limitless 4.0 version of this case has a MagSafe shaped magnet so works better with this accessory 👊🏽
Olá Tomas! Eu sou brasileiro então essa ficou fácil! Muito brigado por assistir e espero que tenhas gostado! Qual foi a sua case preferida? Um grande abraço! 🇵🇹 🇧🇷
Rocked the solid suit for over 1 year, eventually it becomes lose, and the Buttons go bad. Go mous. I made the switch and will be going mous for the 13 pro max
i have a solidsuit and its the best case ever, rhinoshield knows how to make a case and delivers quality where is counts. Noone cares about the inside of the case or how 'flimsy' the back is. Rhinoshield easily wins because it has the best fit, customizable buttons, better grip, better material that doesnt get fingerprints

Hi there Kat! I am glad you found it useful! I have to say, they are very similar but I was pleasantly surprised by the RhinoShield. I really used to like them a lot, but their designs and customer service have let me down a bit recently…
For protection which one did you like the most
Hi there, overall what would you say is the best phone case and which is the best screen protecter. Thanks.
My favourites are Mous, Nomad and Casetify. Casetify are a channel sponsors by the way, for full transparency. But I was a customer and bought their cases way before making videos about them. If I had to choose one... Mous.

I just got an iPhone 12. What case do you like more between the mous and rhino shield ?
Hi there Dominick! Right now I am leaning towards the RhinoShield mainly because of the way it doesnt collect any grease but I still do love the Mous, but for the 12 Pro Max, maybe consider their other materials like the walnut one which looks great, I have a link to it here in the description. Hope this helps! 🙏 If you have any more questions do let me know and I will do my best to answer 👊
I had been back and forth and decided on the mous clear case and the rhinoshield 3d edge screen protector earlier today but still continued to research, glad I did because you just confirmed my initial decision. 5:35 , he has it on the Home Screen, the MagSafe animation wont come up on the Home Screen, only Lock Screen.
If you want to check that out for comparison here is the latest, with MagSafe timestamps too so you can jumpt straight into it :-) th-cam.com/video/eMxTmPb9skk/w-d-xo.html

What an amazing review. I've always purchased Mous cases for my iPhone. This has me thinking about switching to Rhinoshield though.

Yes
Hi i heard that the magnet on the mous case will interrupt camera OIS.is that true? Tq
Mous 100% - check my latest Mous reviews 😉
Please which one of them feel bulky thanks in advance
Both feel pretty similar. Mous is bulkier but it has a nicer interior lining which protects the phone better so it's a bit of a compromise, but not much between them to be honest!
Are they made from silicone also?
Both TPU I believe, except Mous also uses real materials at the back.
Been awhile!! I was focusing on my studies this past week, great stuff as always man!! 🙏💯
which one would u recommend me getting, i have the iphone 12 :) they are almost the same so im still not sure for which one to get. Thanks!
@@AlexGTech sausage fingers are of course greasy!
Watching this again and now I have to say that I prefer the more solid Mous construction!
Mous are legit!!
I wish I saw this vid earlier. 😭 I just order rhinoshield 2 days ago. Now I want mous. 😭
Oh no!! To be fair RhinoShield is pretty decent too. But if I had to choose one it would be Mous, definitely…
Which case do you feel is grippier and which do you think will offer more protection? I’m looking to switch from an otterbox commuter and wanted a thinner case and I believe both will offer comparable protection but just wanted your opinion
grippier = Rhino
more protection = Mous. I will say though... Mouse 4.0 is now thinner (feels a bit like the Rhino) and because is lighter it may feel grippier. I had some viewers saying that they found the 4.0 grippier than 3.0. I did a video on the Limitless 4.0 here if you want to check it out: th-cam.com/video/vWBRZqTcM58/w-d-xo.html
Hope this helps 🙏
Which one is narrower (width) between these 2 cases?
Many thanks.
Do RhinoShield cases support or work with MagSafe?
Like will an iPhone hold on the 3 in one Belkin charger with a RhinoShield case?
They work but don’t connect strongly and generate quite a bit of heat because of that so I wouldn’t recommend it really after learning that heat is bad for the battery life. So I’d either look for one of their MagSafe compatible ones or remove from the case to charge which is a pain really…
Hello ! The feeling of the button on the mous case is good ? Because i love the feeling on the Rhinoshield case
Yes it really is. It’s slightly stiffer than the Rhino but not by much. What I would say is to take a look at Mous different material options as the aramid fibre seems to be quite fingerprint-y 😂
I have a link to the different options in the description.
If I try the 3D again I will make sure to do a video on it 👊🏼
But witch One do you recommend
For best protection and materials = Mous. Style/design on this specific carbon fibre look = RhinoShield
So, which case do you like better? The Mous or Rhinoshield?

I have a mous case but it’s feels really plan and I’m considering getting a rhino shield Bc they have nice designs so which should I get ?
Hi Mohammed, yes Rhino is slimmer for sure. But...watch my video that I will release tomorrow as I have a possible solution for you! They are both great cases but Mous uses real materials and they have an inside lining (on this 3.0 version) that adds a little bit more of bulk.

Thanks for checking this video out 👊
@@AlexGTech good to hear! Maybe mine was defected. But nonetheless I’d gone back to Mous with the leather variant too. Loving it so far!
After some time, which one do you prefer now?
Both excellent cases in different areas but Mous is my favourite, it’s so durable. Some materials on the Mous are not as grippy as the RhinoShield but protection wise, Mous is just great
Thanx for the nice review, do you think limitless works with ESR wireless car charger?
Hi there, and thanks for the kind words 🙏 To be honest I think that is unlikely but I haven't tried it. The reason I say that is because the magnetic plates on this case are specifically placed in areas that suit Mous other accessories like their own charger and leather wallet. I do know someone in the community who has the ESR car charger so I will see if I can get more info. Have a great day 👊
@@AlexGTech I see, that's possible. Thanx and have a nice day.
Can you get the colored buttons on Amazon or only from Rhinoshield?
Hi there, thanks for coming back! I think I remember you from a previous video! Yes, on Amazon they have this 16 color pack: geni.us/fmRwXD
The ones from Rhinoshield are much cheaper though as you can buy it as a single color.
I just did a drop test video on them: th-cam.com/video/8QWvp9QbdLI/w-d-xo.html
Hope this helps 👊🏽
His answer is sponsored af
Mous advertisement on the video too lmao
They are both shit for protection.
@@AlexGTech thanks!
Thanks for the comparison! I'd have preferred if the review was less about aesthetics and ease of installation and more about the functionality of the cases and screen protectors. It doesn't really matter if one is harder to apply if it does a better job protecting the device.
Fair enough! I did do quite a few videos on Mous cases (not sop many on Rhinoshield) so hope that helps you 👊
Will check them out! I just bought a rhinoshield case and wanted to make sure it's good quality haha. The mous is just a bit too expensive.
Yes I agree with you on the buttons. They have a pretty firm edge including the bottom part which so many brands overlook.
The latest Limitless 4.0 has that “floating” design now too. Both great cases to be fair
Hey Alex I have a quick question, are the fingerprints on the mous case easy to wipe off or are they as hard as the Apple silicone case?
Hi Eric, so sorry I never responded. Yeah they are pretty easy to wipe off but you definitely need to do it, especially on the Aramid fibre version. Apologies again, not sure how I missed this comment 🤦♂️
My rhino shield shipped a week ago and its still in the hub waiting for tramsfer
Oh no! Hope it arrives soon!
Which is more protective?
I personally think the Mous has an edge (only slightly) when it comes to protection given the raised edges on the corners. But both are fantastic. thanks for watching and have a great day 👊
@@AlexGTech how about ringke??is it good?
I used to have a rhinoshield for my iphone 6. That case started falling apart after 1-2 years. Pieces of it coming off like it was a worn out rubber.
Such a shame right? They do look good but I think mouse has more protective features and they do last a long time
Interesting comparison and another quality video 🔥
How does the rhinoshield screen protector hold up against scratches?
I get stressed when my phone is not in a case 😅
I sell off my older devices a while after I get new ones as I don’t see any value in holding on to older tech, hence I try to keep my devices in as good condition as possible.
@@terencetan236 😂 yeah I get stressed out too, but I don’t do it that often to be honest, but doing quite a few videos with different cases so sometimes I forget to put it back, but never leave the house without a case
Does the screenprotector come with the mous limmetless 3.0?
Have a good one!
which one is better
If I had to pick one: Mous
Nice video bro
Thank you! Which one did you like the most? Both are great to be fair
@@AlexGTech I really like some of the designs that RhinoShield offers, so I ended up going with one of those. On top of that mous does not have any cases for my phone 😄
What if it compared between Mous Clarity and Rhinoshield Mod NX? Is Rhinoshield Mod NX wobble free?
Hi there - so sorry I missed this comment! I havent tried the Mod NX or Clarity yet but sounds like great options for me to try out soon!
What a legend. Excellent review. Thanks buddy.
Oh wow thank you Kesh! Really appreciate the kind words and glad the review was useful! It means a lot, especially as I am still learning this TH-cam thing! Have a great day 🙏
The mous case limitless 4.0 support wireless charging.
hiya, yes it does. At the time of this video they hadn’t launched the 4.0. I did a review of it too, including a drop test if you are interested 😉 have a great rest of the week!
but which one actually protects the phone? The mous one can be dropped from very high heights and the phone is fine, can rinoshield do that?
Hi there, for protection the Mous case has better features, the sides of the case have this green material and that is also in other parts of the case. RhinoShield is great and will protect against drops but not to the same extent as Mous. I would still recommend a screen protector though, don’t trust that Ceramic Shield from apple 😂 have a great rest of weekend
is a magsafe charger worth it? Got a rhinoshield case and dont want to keep removing the case
Thanks for watching Ryan! have a great rest of the day 🙏
@@AlexGTech Thanks for your reply. Yes that bothers me too also had to buy a brick for my phone since I didn’t want to use my old charger.
Agree, I prefer the buttons on the Rhinoshield much more than the Mous case. I also don’t like that the Mous is heavier.
Does rhino shield impact 3d works with your mous case?
Hi there. It does indeed! And the same goes for the Mous Hybrid glass, it works with the RhinoShield Impact 3D. Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend 👊🏽
Where’d you get that lock screen wallpaper? Amazing 😻
Hi Edison, yeah I like that too! I got it from a 4K wallpaper website, I will try and find a link for you tomorrow 👊🏽 thanks for watching!
@@AlexGTech Thank you, keep up the good work!
bought the rhino shield today
hi there! how do you like it? I really like the texture at the back, it makes it a little more grippier than the Mous case for me. Thanks for watching 🙏
the solid suit looks good!
Thanks Mike! Not as good as YT ability to process 4K videos 😂 I allowed an hour and it’s still in 360p 🤷🏽♂️
@@AlexGTech I wonder why 🤔🤔
Yeah sometimes it processes a lot quicker, I didn’t do anything differently either. Oh well it should be fine eventually 😂
@@AlexGTech hopefully soon!
Which one is slimmer
Hi there, the RhinoShield is slightly thinner. I’ve also posted a photo on my Twitter feed comparing the Mous to the Apple silicone case as another viewer had asked a similar question, if you want to take a look: twitter.com/alexgtech1/status/1338105653018169349?s=21
Have a great day
Great vid! Would be great to see your home screen set up
That is a great idea! Will work on that 👊 Thanks again for watching!
I don't know why mous case is my favourite
Hey Audu! Yeah I can totally see myself going back to it after trying a few more cases. I am liking the RhinoShield and the Spiegen as well. Disappointed with Apple's despite the MagSafe. Thanks for watching dude, really appreciate the support 👊
I just realised, some of (if not all of these) clips were recorded on my sisters Birthday.
Cool! November is my month as well! (6th though) have a lovely rest of the week 🙏🏽

can you use screen protector 3d with mous case? great vid keep it up
Yes you can! Have a lovely day 🙏🏽
Looks like this will be another banger! Great video as usual Alex - or should I say the case expert? 😎
Hey!! thanks Saran, it certainly seems that way! And definitely not an expert 😂 thanks for checking it out and the kind words, you’re doing a great job yourself 👊🏽

Hi Will! G’day mate 😂 love it! Yes, I will practice that one and feature in one of my next videos!
which one is heavier?
Hi there, thanks for checking the video out, Mous is slightly heavier 56g vs 42g on the Rhinoshield. Hope this helps! Have a great rest of weekend 🙏🏽
The limitless 4.0 version of this case has a MagSafe shaped magnet so works better with this accessory 👊🏽
hei alex i´m portuques and you sed it very well
Olá Tomas! Eu sou brasileiro então essa ficou fácil! Muito brigado por assistir e espero que tenhas gostado! Qual foi a sua case preferida? Um grande abraço! 🇵🇹 🇧🇷
Rhino-shield wins.
Not a bad brand, but I think Mous has more protective features. I am biased as I always have used Mous, even before making these TH-cam videos…
@@AlexGTech I have a rhino shield case on. And it feels good and amazing and you can get customize options like the buttons size.

Great move!
The Amrit fiber case is a grease and fingerprint magnet l, that’s the only thing I don’t like about it

@@AlexGTech thanks for letting me know
i have a solidsuit and its the best case ever, rhinoshield knows how to make a case and delivers quality where is counts. Noone cares about the inside of the case or how 'flimsy' the back is. Rhinoshield easily wins because it has the best fit, customizable buttons, better grip, better material that doesnt get fingerprints
It’s a great case for sure
