They made a mistake canceling "My Wife and Kids" completely, Damon is one of my favorite Wayans and one of the best comedians I've seen. The show had a lot of potential to stay on much longer . He needs a Netflix special too . Im so sorry to hear about his health struggles and his mother passing my deepest condolences to him and his family ...Strength & blessing to him and his career too, i hope to see more of him soon 🙏🏽❤

I was so bummed when I found out they canceled it. My family used to watch My Wife and Kids every week.
It was getting real interesting when the last show had J pregnant and then it was canceled. Some of the shows though were overly silly. I didn't care for that little boy they added.
Didn't know Damon experienced all those health ailments, how tragic. I pray that his health has improved for the long term.

As a retired US Army Combat Medic I can say that we would all sit around the barracks watching "Major Payne" on repeat! We stole so many lines from him to use on our own people lol He truly cheered us up, severely underrated movie. Of course as a kid we would watch him on in living color as well but Major Payne always had a spot in our hearts. We wish you and your family well Sir and hop you enjoy life to its fullest.

Damon Wayans is an underrated comic, and I wish his standup was featured more on YT. Either way, this man is stupid funny, and has brought us crazy laughter for years. That said-he didn't fall off. I am so sorry to hear of Damon's health issues. He doesn't talk about it when he's doing stand up and I'm sure only a small number of people knew outside of his family. He's my favorite funny man next to his brother Marlon. So sad to hear of the loss of his mother, my prayers and condolences to the family. I also pray for Damon, that he made it through the brain surgery without a lot of complications. He is one helluva actor.

My husband has it in remission. It never goes away. If you start eating bad etc it returns. Also with age he may need insulin even with eating right etc. Blessings

I was diagnosed in Sept 2019 (after being prediabetic for years), and finally found an endocrinologist who gave me the right information and supported me instead of throwing medication at me. Went from A1C of 7.2 to 5.3 in 5 months and maintain 5.3-5.6 with no medication now. It can be done.
@@filmcrit It can be maintained but it never goes away. I also know people who do everything correctly (diet, exercise, medication, rest) and it is still a struggle. I am happy for you and continued success. I lost a cousin last month who was 57 years old. Unfortunately, he didn't take care of himself even after his leg was amputated.i just think he stopped caring despite everyone being supportive.
@@diva70smusic I am so sorry that you lost your cousin. This disease takes too many of us too young. I've lost younger family members and friends, too, and it reinforces my commitment to health. It's exercise (especially strength training), intermittent fasting, low carb eating, and sleep for me.
You can get rid of diabetes with a a strict diet and exercising

Not paying much attention to celebrity stuff I wasn't aware of Damon's struggles. One of my few all time favorites. His approach to comedy is uplifting and gentle rather than the filled with anger and trash. I pray he is filled with peace a joy noe.

I had no idea Major Payne was even in theaters. It may have been a flop but it is a cult favorite. My family loves that movie and My Wife and Kids. T. Campbell is a great comedic actress.
