I would imagine Lebanon's leaders are pressing in the opposite direction of Hezbollah. Syria was a nice distraction for them to get Hezbollah to do something, but I'm quite positive Lebanon doesn't want their cities reduced to rubble which is what would happen. In fact, that's what Israel's back-door messages should be to Lebanon's leadership - If Hezbollah attacks, we will flatten everything and then just shoot at anything moving afterwards. I would imagine Lebanon's leaders are pressing in the opposite direction of Hezbollah. Syria was a nice distraction for them to get Hezbollah to do something, but I'm quite positive Lebanon doesn't want their cities reduced to rubble which is what would happen. In fact, that's what Israel's back-door messages should be to Lebanon's leadership - If Hezbollah attacks, we will flatten everything and then just shoot at anything moving afterwards.
Lebanon has done the opposite of Gaza in terms of appealing to tourism and making life better for its people. I think their appetite for war is not nearly as much as Hezbollah.
