question at time 7 01 does the foundy have to be lowered to connect since i cant have it like that from my build spot
Personally, I appreciate the tours first so I know what I’m looking at getting myself into big picture.
I was gona say the same. Need the tour so I can decide if I even want to build it. Don’t even need commentary for it either
It might be smarter from a views perspective to not do the tour, he may get more watch time if people don’t know the concept until the end.

@@konandrium depends on how you look at it. For me, I don’t even bother watching the video at all without a tour or cinematics to show quickly showcase it. Why would I sit here for 15 minutes and watch a video only to find out it’s nothing like anything I want when there’s hundreds of other bases out there? Totally understand what you’re saying. Just preference and opinions.

@SecretBuilds The beginning stages of the build, the triangle and 3 squares surrounding it, if you lower the triangle to the floor and then raise the square foundations around it, you can place 3 furnaces out of the way you can walk over. Because the furnaces are blocked in with foundations, it won't let any ambient light show up in the base at night. Sneaky way to avoid someone knowing you're active online. Later on when you have the large furnaces, you can use that triangle slot for extra storage
I did this while testing on a build server. Unfortunately when you get to 6:45 you wont be able to place to raised foundations for the wide gaps if you start with a lowered triangle
@@1337AceOfSpades1337what if you just delete the triangle? Potentially you could add the foundations back at equal height when you get near that step. Or use half walls and a ceiling on thr raised ones as that step. Some thoughts.
I was trying to figure out how to add a wide gap to a honeycombed egg, then this fell in my lap. Changed my layout completely to match this, wound up liking it more. Used a different gatehouse and on the roof I swapped ramps for planters because I always wanted a rooftop farm. I may fiddle with some things in the next few wipes, but I think this is my new go-to. Thanks for sharing, oh and +1 agree that a tour would have been a great addition to the vid.

I remember building this exact base about a year ago with my group, same base design from a smaller creator. Wish I could remember who it was. The base is a great design.

Added roof camp tower off off one of roof top doors with jump up, made that floor like the roof floor and placed walls with ladder hatches in frame up at the top with a combination of roofs and windows.

Can you make a small base with an egg starter with about 45-55k build cost for a solo with a nice open floor for loot
I hate how the terrain is specific, if the terrain is even slightly wrong you can’t build wide gaps and it completely ruins the build
Just find a flat spot or use half walls to build somthing to fix it. As secret said” this base is highly customizable”

Don’t get burned out, just take a break. People skip around the tours to see what’s important to them. The established channels certainly don’t go doing tours for fun lol
I don’t do tours for fun: I’m just trying new things out lol. I am trying to not be like every other generic youtube builder.
@@SecretBuilds you can break the mold and still keep base tours. Think of it like a real estate agent. You don't show them how it's made before showing the finished product. You want people to imagine themselves living out of your bases. Not to mention, people have a mental model of how these videos work already. No need to reinvent the wheel. No base tour can come across like you're hiding some flaw or something.

8:36 the reason why the triangle and square is decaying is because the triangles aren’t actually connected and you just need to place two more double door frames on the triangle where he placed the half wall to get on top and then you should be good
I really like this base iam using it as a duo now but have moved tc lol 🤣 just not liking the bedroom decaying got to keep hitting them to repair it doesn't cost much just will be annoying if I log on and they have fully decayed leaving holes in the base for easy raid
@cristohernandez4990he didn't build it wrong they do decay even with TCS the base got patched or sum

I've got the tv's placed with the frames connected to the wide gaps but the wide gaps are still decaying

u have to put door frame and window frame like he did and it will connect wide gaps to externals
How many garage and dubla amd single door you need to build?
I can’t seem to get the high triangle foundys to connect when making the widegap
Built this base for me and my duo at 12 I would say I’m 40% done and I messed up so many times I learned not to make bases at 1 in the morning😭
NOTE: If you replace the high foundys with standard hight and just use half walls to make it up inclining one in the center it wont decay
they won’t decay when the whole base is done

Hey man. Some simple tips would be try to be unique as possible. Don’t try to be like EVERYONE else. Try your own stuff out over and over. See what works what doesn’t: just a lot of practice and consistency thats basically all!!
Base tour before showing the build would be great. I thought you usually did them so not sure what's up with this one

Where do the batteries go for turrets
The only thing that lacks here is place for a large battery and you could place wind turbines on top of base , overall the base is awesome , you were mixing your words all the time , for small walls you were saying half walls , you placed a double door frame and said single door frame xD , there was pleny of those mistakes that got me really confused lmaoo , great job man , keep making these videos :D

i think there has been a new update to building or something because i have built this base before and it hasnt happened but i just built it in a new server and the same thing is happening to me so i think they did something to building and i dont think this base works anymore he needs to let everyone know. (door frames dont connect to the wide gap foundations anymore)

when i built this base do you have to build the compound in one sitting cues i built the externals and wide gaps but it decayed the only thing that did not decade was the base the externals and the gate houses

Okay boys the design is just flawed, no one did the widegap bedrooms wrong. They have decayed for everyone, clearly bro has never built this base outside of some build server to notice how it decays
Seems like there’s quite a few people asking this and I haven’t seen a real answer regarding them yet

Some of the half walls are low walls it messed me up but an easy fix as soon as I got it done I got raided
