This is just the base ive been looking for. Everyone tries to put in large base stuff on trio bases and its always lead to us getting raided before we finish the base. Perfect for groups that dont want to focus on base and want to stick to pvp.
Hey Secret! I built this base during my last wipe so I have one question and tips for other players. Question: The half wall peeks (9:47) obstruct the turret angles quite a bit. I was thinking of just putting an embrasure instead to make the compound turrets more effective. Thoughts? Tips for others building this base -- 1. The bunker (while open) will obstruct the use of the boxes closest to the bunker. Don't put loot in those that you need to access frequently. 2: You can put in large batteries and 4 boxes into each bunker but it's a little tricky to place the battery once you have a shelf with 4 boxes in there. Not impossible though. 3. There is plenty of room on the roof for windmills but I placed them on top of each breach peek. 4-5 high and it reached each bunker fine. Plus you can get a windmill down super early before roof is finished for early game turrets to protect furnaces/helis. 4. I changed the roof design and left it much more open with a vending machine to sell guns for sulfur. Since I placed a battery in each bunker and I prefer to leave the roof turrets more open to give them more angles + more room on the roof to land helis.
I would put an extra triangle foundation on the external bedrooms with a window facing compound wall to make a funnel in the compound and to make the angles tighter

Bunker gaps are very cool! Thank you for reminding me how to do that! Loved the compound. There is a lot of customization that can be done for specific team needs! Thank you!
i defended a 3v16 with my teammates and the raiders asked how strong is this base and they gave their base to use because we were stealing too many kits from them.
If the bunker stops working when placing triangle floor you need to destroy all 6 triangle floors above and redo them with correct placement. Each triangle floor has 2 different placements but only 1 works. I had to change them a couple times before it worked. Good luck 👍 (btw console works 100%)
Took me 3 hours to completely finish the base with the entire thing being metal, core being high quality, and having 12 turrets just to be offlined within 7 hours of my sleep 👍(*_*)👍

i discovered a way to do the old roof bunker in the 2x1 there is prob a video out there of someone else doing it but u could add it and increase the door raid cost

if u on builders pardise you can use symetry idk if i typed it right . but it saves alot of time building and editing keep up the good work. also for another base idea can you do a small open core base for duos and trios?
I love 2x1 but you have to fix the way when you get into the second floor from front cuse it will be one door and a wall you should make the jumb up in the midle of the hanicom

Good evening, I did build this in the build server and tested it. This is a good base for 3-6 people. It's fantastic and great. Also, I did a test raid on it and it took like 80 rocket. This is the best base right now from what I build.
i’m really new to base building… when i build the base all the way up until the external tcs i figured the land wasn’t flat enough to connect my tcs to the main base, how can i fix this
Secret, can take a four foundations instead of the 7 for a bigger gap or no? Friend built the start to close to fishing village and can only go out 6 foundations -_- or should i jusy restart?
To simply increase this cost you can def upgrade core walls, and roof to high qual, foundations should be good I also like to upgrade the jump up honeycomb to high quality

I just started practicing this in a build server, and when I get to the bunker part, one of my sides works, and the other side closes up every time, I put the triangle floors above them. What could I have done wrong?
when i do the external TC's and do the floor frames they don't disconnect whenever i build the ramp? am I doing something wrong I tried to replicate exactly what you did in the video multiple times
why does the door frame inside the bunker have to be metal? Also what are those metal frames for at the very end of the video? Seems like they don't add anything
They really need to add a easy way to do all the tedious things lol building back and build offs ! . pre build templates like GMs have but not full bases ?? so maybe they could do it where the builder sees where he should place things like foundations plus the space needed to build these bases free hand one needs to be just right or you cant really build this on console or pc lol in less your an GM lol i did the sabre on console !! was fun but got off lined . i mean for busy servers and solos so on ! templates would be better then building skins . modular bases are sick

@@Ariz-_- i haven’t tried but it seems like on console we need more space to build the TC, not 7 foundations but 9 or 10, and it’s a lot cause it’s a pain to connect the base and the tc foundations

do u have to start with single doors? or can u make them double doors for ease of access Edit: i used this base for wipe and with double doors and it its so much easier like garage doors and hqm doors later on its just in the beginning that its good to have a single door airlock if u get deeped on but the expandsion is cheap ig u could make the single door frames wood
Overall looks not bad, i wonder how big the offline protection is? I think its COmpound wall + Gatehouse Door + 1 Wall + 1-2 inner DOors to get into Core right? Very cool Design for online defense, i really struggle to follow such a long building tutorial, also i would love to see the part of the video categorized where u build the gatehouse, where the roof is builded, so i can quickly forward to these points and try to replicate it. Also please no hard cuts, just walk take some time build the base so we can replicate it, i have to rewing like every 10 seconds ^^ Sometimes a look back at what u just did to confirm it would be nice in these tutorials

Tips for others building this base --

Looks like a great design, the only thing is that the bunkers are 1 wall away from the outside. Will use it on force wipe as a solo tho!

Through doors the base will cost up to 30-40 rockets through walls around 16-18

Why are there metal frams on the outside windows are they needed? Also those side lootrooms next to bunker do they need to be windows or frames?
The frames aren’t needed but they help with a peak in the window. And the loot rooms don’t matter for frames or windows either one u want

Great design loved the base. But bunkers are easy to get into if you softside the bottom
Yuh but most of the Time offliners r slow and stupid and miss stuff like that plus u can just put rugs to cover the bunker part
this is an easy fix if you find the space to attach triangle or square frames to the roof of the bunker

Idk about why the door frames are metal but the extra metal bits he puts up makes the angles tighter at the top

If the terrain isnt flat you can build raised foundations and still build out same goes for lower foundys
