SSP Chaudhry Aslam Known as Encounter Specialist remained IN charge CID. Super cop Mohammad Aslam Khan - better known as Chaudhry Aslam was appointed as ythe head of head of the Anti-Extremist Cell of the CID. Originally from Mansehra, Chaudhary Aslam he took part in the two operations against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in the 1990s. Ghauri sb, his real name was Aslam Khan as he belonged to Hazara as after land reforms of Ayub Khan everyone in Hazara has starting calling himself as KHAN, whereas they were not. His family was involved in milk business and were called Gujjar, thus he was named Ch. Aslam in this background. It is true that behind his official carrier he used to kill people for money also. If you check newspapers of his time, he will kill someone and would declare him Al-Qauida Head in Karachi and his whole family would be wrapped up and would be released only after getting huge amounts. His lobby was so strong that he was given exposure to the extent. I believe that another Police Officer of that era, who is alive is Sarwar Commando and can give some stories.
