  • There is something electric about Dylan Bowen’s ceramic work. Seeing him demonstrate his slipware decoration live is an unforgettable experience.
This film is your chance to see Dylan demonstrating his decorating process, and to witness his energy and spontaneity firsthand.
Dylan’s style of loosely thrown monochromatic work as a slipware potter is well-established. He trained at the Shebbear Pottery in north Devon and Camberwell School of Art in London and now Dylan and his partner Jane Bowen, who is also a potter, now work from their studio in Oxford.
You can join Dylan for a week in the studio at Dartington 20-25 March 2022 for an exciting course in experimental ceramics: www.dartington...

First! I loved seeing the actual slip application. So that was great narrator was good but a little invasive. Really cute though. You should do a lot more. ❤ editing was casual but seeing hi work was great.

The interviewer disturbs his creative process. She thinks she needs to keep talking so she makes it more interesting but it’s actually the other way around
