Your list is absolutely fantastic and I couldn't agree with more, Cuba!! Right before you selected Layton, I was telling myself you were going to pick Layton and sure enough, BAM..Layton! However, I was more impressed that you picked TF Oud Wood because that is a true gentlemen fragrance and you won't find a better one out there!

Yup. Dior Homme intense was one of them. Bought 2 bottles because of the hype (didn’t know it was discontinued at the time) opened it, smelled it.. was like…. Ehh smells like grandmas lip stick …
Worn it a few more times and love it. (Iris, sandal wood, some chocolate notes)

Had to chuckle when you spilt the Mancera. Happened to me. If the cap is screwed too tight, the atomizer comes flying out. It's a feature. ☺️
I did this with my bottle of Red Tobacco. I've learned to not screw the cap on too tight.
Happened to me as well with Red Tobacco and the stem whipped out some fragrance onto my eye, burned like a mofo

Old school ADP's leather, I still have a bottle of. It's probably 10 plus years old and so strong. Smells night and day better than Tom Ford's leather, I think.

My fragrance journey started over 3 years ago. I skipped designer and jumped into niche. I did sample designer fragrances, but was bored with them. I love unique fragrances. Don't get into crowd pleasing thing. I'm just a different kind of fella. Enjoyed the video.
Fahrenheit has been such a polarizing fragrance for me. I absolutely hated it as a child and now, every time I smell it I love it more.

TF Oud Wood and Ombre Leather are both great choices... but I'm personally going with Tobacco Oud... I find it sexy-er than either
I will have to wait for Amouage Royal Tobacco ($360 !! ).......I am anxiously awaiting the "clone wars" to start on this one...(hopefully). Memo African Leather is also in my Top 10 for life.
I think getting a 5-10mL will do to be honest bro. It's so strong I have to do 1 spray under my shirt and still get stupid longevity and projection. It's not an everyday scent neither.
This was a great vid with great recs. Couldn't agree more with most of these. Royal Tobacco, Oud Wood, African Leather and Layton are absolute must haves. I would've just added Oud for Greatness but that was one of my first loves along with Oud Wood.

My only comment would be about Ganymede… I blind bought after hearing so much TH-cam hype, and at first thought it was great too (power of suggestion?) No doubt about its sophistication and quality, the level craft of perfumery… but now stepping back from the whole fragrance world and just wearing it, I think to myself, “wait… this smells like bug spray!!!” I’ll have to do a comparison to see if it’s closer to vintage Off or the current formulation of Raid! 😅

Naxos smells great, but I get more compliments with Herod! Sample both and see which works best on you.

I haven't got my nose on PDM Carlisle yet but I've had a sample of Layton.. and though it has an excellent mass appealing scent profile.. it's not a full bottle grab for me... I have gotten compliments from it but I don't find the scent unique or elevating... I have other scents in it's wheelhouse that fill this spot

I was going to get Ganymede next year, but "inflation" has hit it hard. March 2022 i could get a 100ml for 165 euro now its 190 and its probably going to get higher. I Need to empty some more bottle before i can justify it for 200 bucks
