Cuba, I am struggling with Oud for Glory. I am def going to let it sit for a while. At first sniff its pungent and off putting to my nose. Ameer al oud is smoother to me so far. I want to like it, time will tell. How long do you think it needs to sit?
If you struggle with any fragrance, spray on wrists only for a couple of wearings, and try in at least 2 of the 4 seasons (⛱️ /☃️) and if you can't appreciate it, then it's probably not for you. If you can stand it, repeat and gradually add it to the back of the neck. This will establish an enjoyable tolerance level. Wouldn't spray on clothing, tends to remain linear and lasts longer. Can't imagine anyone wearing a fragrance they despise. 🤨

Khadlaj Gaith is a great twist on Dior Savauge Elixir. Rasasi fragrances are incredible. I got a sample of Rasasi Prime, the clone of Oudmazing. I couldnt find the Rasasi Prime so I got the Oudmazing from Montale. That is an incredibly close clone of Oudmazing. Great list, own most of them already lol
Pure addiction is my favourite rendition of BR450, and I prefer it to the original as well. That added orange/mandarin or whatever is so additive, and it’s slightly more woody, making it more masculine. This is a must try fragrance.

Dua's Moon is Glorified is a great clone of Moon Glory by the Harmonist. Too bad it's almost always sold out. I also enjoy Valor, but I haven't smelled Boadicea Valiant so I don't know how close of a clone it is.

Speaking of Dua plum fragrances, have you tried their interpretation of Penhaligon's Alula, Vast Seas of Sand? Because Oh My Gawd. To me it's even better than the original. Slightly tart, juicy plum, incense, spices and a warm vanilla and tobacco supported by patchouli. It's absolutely exquisite. 🎉
Pure addiction is better hands down. I don't know what it smells like on others, but baccarat Rouge smells like burnt sugar on me. It's not offensive it's just not interesting at all on me must be a chemistry thing. I gave my baccarat Rouge to my daughter, and she loved it.

To my nose, CDNM smells too cheap. My buddy bought it edp and couldn't vibe with it ,he gave it to me ,I tried and no, synthetic opening and burnt birch i tried to give it away, and finally, my electrician accepted it as a gift.just buy explorer it's way better in my humble opinion
Nah, Explorer is just trash. It's really one of the worst from Aventus-like family. It is also synthetic af and smells even cheaper than CDNIM EDT, let alone EDP, Parfum or Limited edition. It's flat, too lemony and missing notes, if you looking for a good Aventus inspired frag.
💯 ... I can smell cdn on people right away. It's very oak mossy n shave cream green esq also has a weird hay or wheat note to my nose maybe that's the burned out Birch u mention.
@InscentiveAdvice idk, maybe you have some bad batch. My work colleague asked me what i'm wearing (CDNIM EDT at mid-stage, as it takes me like 50 minutes to get to work). I tried to give it a shot and said Aventus. He says, "oh, i can smell familiar thing, as i've been gifted it on my wedding". So the guy must be knowing how real deal smells. I know how OG smells myself. Besides of that we have Creeds in a mall, i've been getting decants of different batches at various times. Apart from harsh overly synthetic lemony opening, it is not bad Aventus clone. It is birchy and smoky, yes. But so as certain older batches of OG. It is nowadays they making more fruity and pineapple cocktail-esue juice. So there is nothing wrong with it being more smoky and birchy. Anyone who knows about original Aventus batch differences doesn't see this as a problem. Birch is somewhat smoky, but definitely not burnt. Smoke is not overpowering. I don't know about newer CDNIM batches, but older ones been like i've descibed. Seems like the guy just got inexperienced nose and doesn't understand Aventus at all, if he suggests getting Explorer instead of CDNIM edp. Mont Blanc has some decent scents, and on it's own Explorer is not a bad scents, if you can get it for sub-35 $. But as Aventus alternative, and especially for non-discount price of around 50$, it shouldn't even been mentioned.

Can confirm Oud For Glory is the shit. I have over 50 frags and its easily my top 3 personal favorite.
I opted for Al Haramain - Detour Eco instead. A little different, but from what I understand, similar DNA. Its really nice as well. Big performer
