This is both making me feel sooooo hungry and quite full all at the same time. I'd love to give that challenge a go and not care about the £15 price. Just finishing this alone for many is a heck of a challenge already.

theres a pub at the end of my road that makes calzones and i had one of those pizza cutter things for christmas once. i might go to the pub tonight it helps stop my head hurting 😀

I want to say you were amazing getting that down in less than 15 minutes. Here in New Jersey, that is called a cal zone. Like a no parking zone. You pronounced it right in Italian. A large calzone here, is half of what you ate.

Shut (shoot), I really thought you would beat the record. Usually when you take on a challenge like this and ask for predicted times I usually just cut the old time in half and add a few seconds. My question is when you eat something with a hard crust like this calzone or pizza, how do you not have to chew the crust?. It would rip my throat out just trying.

When one of the best speed eaters in the country is quite a bit off the pace you know the record holder went full beast-mode. I was in Liverpool the day this was posted and saw the sign for the restaurant. I’m so glad I didn’t go try then as I was hanging and wouldn’t have done it within the hour let alone 14 minutes
Not your fault... too much to chew. Your specialty is being able to swallow with minimal chewing. That thing was just too big to swallow whole!
