When I saw that teaspoon covered in English mustard go to your lips Joel, I was like... 'wait for it....'. Other mustards sit quietly in the corner... English mustard will always steal the show... it's the classic 'goes up the nose/brain sizzle' like you get from horseradish... 😉 ... and yummy paired with you beloved tomato sauce.... Great combo for steaks. x

Mushrooms don't expand unless they were dried. Fresh mushrooms are already expanded. Test it yourself, toss them in a pot of water to boil, they don't get bigger.

Found your channel a while back, but great to see you are at my fair city, great job both of you.
I love you and Joel competing together against the food! That what I live about Joel, Scott and you , you compete against the food challenge not one another. Often Joel could finish much faster but doesn’t try to compete it so quickly that one hers can’t beat it too! That’s another thing I love about good individuals that compete! They consider others as well!

Mushrooms that aren’t cooked expand but once cooked they don’t expand further! I’ve never seen or had fried British bread ! What is the taste difference that cause you to say it’s a definite taste one must have acquired?? Why or what causes the bread to be something you must learn to like!

Didn’t like fried bread as a kid but love it as an adult, same with beans tbh…now I couldn’t make one of these without the both of them! Mushrooms expand in density I think although that doesn’t make much sense even to me, as they absorb the butter, less ‘airy’ lol

Since this was posted, ive been following Joel and through him, Scott Eats. I was shocked in the beginning at the amount of grub Joel can consume but now, i take it for granted.

It is a polysaccharide that resembles cellulose but is not digested by the human stomach. In addition, mushrooms contain a lot of protein types, which are poorly dissolved by stomach acids.

Leah has great chemistry with all the guys who has done challenges with her on her channel Joel is by far the fastest of all the guys he is a beast for sure, I do think that there should be less talking doing the challenges with others because I feel Leah sometimes gets distracted and looses her concentration and we all know Leah is the best hands down.

Bubble and squeak! Chips can, who made you the authority of what qualifies as a full English? My mates grandad worked as Steeple-jack and around 11AM would have a fry-up including chips. Helped them with their graft! Real men need a proper fry! (English and Ulster only as we can't include ROI, Scottish and Welsh in the debate!)

Nothing wrong with fried bread, its a good part of an English breakfast. There's no way that I could eat that much though. Looks like a good weeks worth of breakfast !!

I'm a industrial agent in south Asia , been in the jungle for four months with nothing but over fried bony fish and white rice with no salt and watching this is quite torturous.

Mushrooms contain 90 percent water so they do not expand in contact with liquids. Love you Leah, but that fact is incorrect
If they are not chewed correctly that can expand in your stoamch, in 2017 a women in china had to have surgery to remove a mushroom from her stomach she is grew to be about 10 cm in size inside her stomach due to her not chewing it fully
