MAC is not related to sun damage to my knowledge. When I notice solar elastosis, it tells me the patient is an adult, probably middle aged or older, and the anatomic site is sun exposed. I don't often mention solar elastosis in the report except for specific times where it tells me something useful (like the umbrella sign or lack thereof in a melanocytic lesion in sun damaged skin. reference: meridian.allenpress.com/aplm/article/143/7/789/10041/A-Practical-Approach-to-the-Diagnosis-of).

This and many other of your videos have been very helpful in preparing for the Mohs board exam. Thank you!
Great!! It would be very interesting to talk about low grade polymorphous adenocarcinoma!
Great content! Can u pls do a guide on diagnosis of panniculitis?
I'll add that to my list! Surely I will get to it at some point.
I noticed solar elastosis in this biopsy on MAC too. Any connection? Does one need to comment on it often in sign outs?
