Nice just opened up TH-cam and here you are.
A real pity that Bow hunting has not been lobbied more to be added to the legally permitted ways to harvest deer in the UK. The skill required to get to ethical shot distance makes for a satisfying experience. Would be an interesting add to the PDS1 or DSC1 curriculum.

Flat ground where the Public are likely to be is best served using High seats during first and last light....imho.
A good first time out, but I'm glad you had someone experienced with you!
The first set of deer that you were interested in ran off, which I was pleased they did;
As there were houses in the back ground and with a miss, the bullet could have skipped
and hit the houses. Lightly no, but possible YES.

Perhaps in the UK it more common but in North America I have never seen casual hikers in the hunting area. It could very well be common here too but I've not seen it.
Thanks for watching once again! The south east of England is riddled with public footpaths and rights of way which permit members of the public access across private land from point A to point B. Added to which we are a little tighter on space than you guys!

It's not the size of the space it's the use that I found odd. I didn't know pedestrians in the uk could cross private land so I ASSumed he was in a public hunting area. In the US public hunting areas are often restricted to that purpose. Hence my question.
@@Nebula_Ultra We have public foot paths crossing all over the UK The coastal paths are public unless closed for Ministry of Defence areas.
Also quite a lot of people in a small Island so as the foot paths cover the whole island even peoples back gardens then you will find people out at all times day/night. Just Google UK foot paths
Back a 1000 years those paths were from village to village with it very rare people went v far that is why the local dialects are so many.
In Scotland people can pretty much go wherever they want due to our open access laws.
It's not a problem really.
Also unlike the US we have deer shooting all year and no bag limits.

Wheres the sport in shooting that thing its about the size of your nose, im all for game hunting but atleast kill something worth while.
With respect, In the UK Muntjac need shooting perhaps more than any other species. They are invasive and breed every 9mnth. With no predation in the UK, they'd have a serious impact on the environment if we took the attitude that its not worth shooting them because they are not big enough.
Muntjac are some of the tastiest deer. There are several kilograms of good venison in a muntjac buck.
