I love love craft beauties make up brushes but you can get the bronzer and stuff like that at five below for five bucks they sell it at five below There's a white foundation that kind of goes on clear from Avon that's pretty good so it might still match any skin tone might be a universal one When you send more of it you mean volume for your hair mass oh and the red orange is also called Cara Cara they taste so good It's also called a red navel it's the best orange slightly darker sweeter not quite as acidic not as dark as a blood orange
Oh my god ALEX YOUR BROWN PAPER MOUNTAIN IS JUST LIKE ONE THAT I HAVE IN TOP OF A BOOKSHELF, I throw packaging stuff up there until it finally balances and I swear I’m going to use it at my art business 😂

Yeah I'm starting to think you should cancel the regular Ipsy bags. They don't respect their customers obviously and you have so many bags backed up already. Save your money for important things like the shops and the dogs. And if you donate all the unopened bags to women's centres I'm absolutely sure there are people who you can really help lift up with a donation like that. The Ipsy Showdown was always fun, but if they don't even care to pay attention to customers' profiles it just ruins it. You and your wallet deserve better luv.

You know what Ipsy could do to save money and send better products? Stop sending those makeup bags every month! Maybe send one when people first sign up but then no more, we're all drowning in makeup bags we don't use but getting dollar store nail polish and eye shadow quads from brands nobody has ever heard of expect maybe the founder's mom. And they put so much thought into those bags, the designs, the colours, the little thing on the zippers... Ipsy, we sign up for what you put inside the bag, not the freaking bag!
I used mine for Menstrual products for the 4/5 th grade teachers at my daughters school because the products the nurse had were basically diapers. Just a thought

An idea for the backlog of subscriptions: subscription bingo! Make a bingo card with brands and types of products and keep opening until you get bingo 😂
Right? My mom and I have completely different skin types (I'm super oily to combo & she is v. dry) and she is very basic when it comes to makeup and I like to explore. But, we would get EXACTLY the same things every month. I even went in and tried to update my profile to see if that would make a difference. Nope. I'd been a customer for several years and I just canceled at that point. I was tired.
I had Ipsy for a year a while back and after several ignored orders, I reported fraud to my bank and got over $80 back. And don't get me started on the bags being stolen and opened by DHL employees. Got that back, too!
In the history of this Ipsy Showdown, 2 bags have come close to being identical. However, this is the first time I've witnessed 2 actually be identical. I think I've watched all the Showdowns too.
Your videos are the literal best on this platform. It sucks to see these companies circling the drain, but I really enjoy watching you dunk on them in the nicest way possible.
To be honest when these ipsys are open as well as the boxycharms I think I'd like to see some different makeup subscriptions. I think it might be fun to see what some of the newer companies have to offer. Maybe some mystery boxes would be interesting.

You can just lightly spray alcohol directly on the Ciate blush, get a coin and wrap it with a tissue then press down on the blush. It will lose the pretty design, but at least you won't have to deal with the loose powder. ❤😊
I felt so good to cancel that bag. It was good for a while, got me in some of my favorite products even to this day but it has really gone downhill completely.
I stopped subbing to Ipsy years ago. My profile said I had NO HAIR and I just kept getting hair products... I couldn't justify working with a company that was clearly ignoring their own system for product matching.
The Grow Long leave in conditioner is my favourite! Makes my hair feel soooo silky. I also have naturally curly hair so it keeps the frizz at bay when I don’t feel like straightening my hair.
As a person who dresses alt ipsy did me so dirty, I got the same shade of brown eyeshadow and nude lip stick even tho I gave it BAD reviews every month it never changed lol I’m ashamed for how long I stuck with them
Knew these bags were going to be exceptionally bad when you got $1.40 of nail polish😂 Ipsy has gone massively down hill these last few years, you probably have enough bags in your room you could cancel and still film for like a year😂❤️
I wonder why they put the price on that one! Although it is probably one of the few products in subscription boxes that makes sense - and maybe that company demanded the price to be included? Small enough that women who use nailpolish will either 1) not like the colour but can test the formula and buy others, or 2) like the colour, finish it soon enough, and buy new ones because they are actually affordable. No one who has a subscription will ever finish that blush and buy another one. But a 3$ nail polish? I would say higher odds

As a person that only got ipsy and only one subscription I always liked ipsy. I originally got it to help me learn how to use different makeup. My mom isn't really a makeup person so high school I only ever wore eyeliner, eye shadow, and mascara. I added liquid foundation with the help of a friend towards the end of my first year of college and second year of college I had an event that another friend did my makeup and that was the first time I ever wore highlight and had my brows done. So the mini sizes were super helpful at that time of my life while I learned how to use new things and what I liked and didn't like. I got rid of Ipsy for a while because I just had too many products once I figured out what to do for a full face and started buying full sizes of things. A year or two ago I got ipsy again but updated my profile to a more skin care focus so I could use the products when traveling which has been super helpful! Again I had a pretty good stockpile of products so I don't have ipsy at the moment but I'm out of tiny serums and almost out of tiny moisturizer so I might restart. To me subscriptions aren't for you if you're looking for specific things, you have to be open to getting things you don't normally use and just try out a new product or find a friend who might like it. I know I can go to Ulta and buy a lot of what I use in mini sizes but I know I'll spend more money there than having the ipsy subscription and I've discovered a few favorites so I still like it, I just do my best to make it work for me!
I just signed up for Ipsy two bags ago. I'm not impressed. I did want and get a skincare bag. The value is just not there. Keep opening your bags! It's fun to watch.

My bag was EXACTLY LIKE the second and third one you opened! I got the same color foundation, but it works for my coloring. That is really strange!! That is the first time this has ever happened to me!! It looks like they sent that exact same bag to many, many people!! It's OK that your little blush broke, since you should have another identical one in your third bag. I kind of like that blush too.
Oh no! I can't believe they did that! I think it's a 1st. The worst b4 had 3 identical items I think and then their was that 1 showdown where all 3 were skincare heavy and lacking a whole lot of makeup.

This used to happy to me all the time with Ipsy. I had two very different profiles, but I'd receive two identical bags. I finally canceled one of them because it was ticking me off!

Alexandria- "It looks like I have a clown nose the way in holding this.." Lol I am the same too, my mind goes everywhere, easily distracted. 😆 You should try this brush that has been on trend. Supposedly your foundation and blush goes on very smooth and flawless. From Eloise it's the rose gold tear drop brush.
Jan 2021 I had 2 accounts with 2 very different profiles & I ended up with duplicate bags. That was the first indication to me that ipsy was starting the slow downward descent
I work at a hair salon and recently had severe postpartum hair loss. My boss suggested a shampoo by the brand Surface called Awaken. It has worked so well. You should give it a try

When I used to do Ipsy I had two profiles and two names so I could tell which was which. I don’t wear near the makeup most women do so I have stopped all boxes. I am disappointed Boxy Charm sold out to Ipsy as I thought they had the best products and full size. Tho I do love the dozens of cute makeup bags. Will stay tuned to see how you are rating the future boxes. And though mostly if not all skin care products my last box to stop was Pink Seoul which had all full size products.
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺. For what it’s worth I think you should cancel these Ipsy subscriptions and try one or two new different subscription boxes. Whilst I enjoy your frustration I would like to see you enjoying the products more.
If you can find the original Jamaican black castor oil and mix that with cold press coconut oil (1/3 to 2/3 proportion) it does help with new hair growth.....however....leave on for only 20mins twice a week and wash off THOROUGHLY. The mix helps strengthen your hair roots as well. Amla oil is also an option, u can use the same way. Just wash everything off properly!!!
I had the same trouble with the Ciate blush! It was fine, then I went to use it and it went everywhere. I still use it some, because it IS pretty.. but the lid also fell off, so I had to just sit it on my makeup desk. Kind of a bummer, honestly.
Thanks for sharing. I am not as familiar with pre merge of Ipsy Boxy but prices were not to be raised after and then were and for a while there was some wondering about changes in merging. But, not much happened except price hikes and products being offered both ways. Maybe trying to get a feel for a new type marketing and over all plan? I paused for a bit. My bags were ok and even GOOD lately. A few months have been excellent. Feb ❤️ day- I got some other bag. Not this swirly pinks. It was darling but it was from another unknown time. That's been happening and the bags are still cute, so no big deal. It's red and looks like a Valentine's envelope. The products are fine too. I think maybe a break and looking at that heap you haven't opened yet- 😊- someone above mentioned doing a marathon opening with all those. It may be a lot on you, but it sounds fun. Not bashing on IPSY or Boxy bcus value is there, quality is there and they offer so much compared to others. Especially in skin care- Lol- when ever paused before, it always turns out to be a Great month and then regrets come. The try me sizes are better if mid size and not a few drops vs. Deluxe sample sizes. Or the occasional full size- and that does happen with IPSY. Such a treat. Glam bag breaks down to 50 cents a day- it is a nice treat usually and I am talking myself into not pausing again. Because I am worth 50 cents a day. 😂 Omgosh. Anyone else? Relate to this? I would stop wasting your money! My daughter loves the eyescream box! They have some wild and fun stuff. This month the big one my daughter was over the moon about was the loose color shift chrome pigments.

There was product on the outside of that blush, so I'm sure it was broken and had just slid back together. When you opened and closed it, I'd say the pieces just slid back apart. The blush did work well as a highlight for you, though, so I'd say you should keep both. I agree with everyone else that the ipsy bags are usually disappointing anymore. If you bought one of the higher end boxes and stopped all three of the ipsy bags, you'd be saving money and may get products that work better for you.
I've always loved your ipsy showdowns! Even tho ipsy has let me down a lot lately, I can't seem to cancel my reg glam bag, like I got rid of my plus and x bags _a while_ ago. If they keep raising their prices without getting any better at their customization, I might have to consider it tho! 💜 **edit... this is def the first time you've had two identical bags in your ipsy showdowns
For 13.50 a month, this actually is not bad. I’ve found 4 products that I absolutely love, and would never tried otherwise. It’s just a sample to see if you like it!😉

This used to happy to me all the time with Ipsy. I had two very different profiles, but I'd receive two identical bags. I finally canceled one of them because it was ticking me off!

You should try this brush that has been on trend. Supposedly your foundation and blush goes on very smooth and flawless. From Eloise it's the rose gold tear drop brush.

Jan 2021 I had 2 accounts with 2 very different profiles & I ended up with duplicate bags. That was the first indication to me that ipsy was starting the slow downward descent
I work at a hair salon and recently had severe postpartum hair loss. My boss suggested a shampoo by the brand Surface called Awaken. It has worked so well. You should give it a try
Always give the SLmissGlam brushes to my daughter to play in makeup or paint lol. I get Luxie brushes alot which I LOVE!

Alex, that grow long stuff from Marc Anthony is great! I have alopecia and super thin hair, and its helped my hair grow longer, and my hair has never been longer than shoulder length.

When I used to do Ipsy I had two profiles and two names so I could tell which was which. I don’t wear near the makeup most women do so I have stopped all boxes. I am disappointed Boxy Charm sold out to Ipsy as I thought they had the best products and full size. Tho I do love the dozens of cute makeup bags. Will stay tuned to see how you are rating the future boxes. And though mostly if not all skin care products my last box to stop was Pink Seoul which had all full size products.

Hi from Australia 🇦🇺. For what it’s worth I think you should cancel these Ipsy subscriptions and try one or two new different subscription boxes. Whilst I enjoy your frustration I would like to see you enjoying the products more.

The subscription box I did was Glossybox and most items were full size and I felt the value was worth it.
If you can find the original Jamaican black castor oil and mix that with cold press coconut oil (1/3 to 2/3 proportion) it does help with new hair growth.....however....leave on for only 20mins twice a week and wash off THOROUGHLY. The mix helps strengthen your hair roots as well. Amla oil is also an option, u can use the same way. Just wash everything off properly!!!

I had the same trouble with the Ciate blush! It was fine, then I went to use it and it went everywhere. I still use it some, because it IS pretty.. but the lid also fell off, so I had to just sit it on my makeup desk. Kind of a bummer, honestly.

Thanks for sharing. I am not as familiar with pre merge of Ipsy Boxy but prices were not to be raised after and then were and for a while there was some wondering about changes in merging. But, not much happened except price hikes and products being offered both ways. Maybe trying to get a feel for a new type marketing and over all plan? I paused for a bit. My bags were ok and even GOOD lately. A few months have been excellent. Feb ❤️ day- I got some other bag. Not this swirly pinks. It was darling but it was from another unknown time. That's been happening and the bags are still cute, so no big deal. It's red and looks like a Valentine's envelope. The products are fine too. I think maybe a break and looking at that heap you haven't opened yet- 😊- someone above mentioned doing a marathon opening with all those. It may be a lot on you, but it sounds fun. Not bashing on IPSY or Boxy bcus value is there, quality is there and they offer so much compared to others. Especially in skin care- Lol- when ever paused before, it always turns out to be a Great month and then regrets come. The try me sizes are better if mid size and not a few drops vs. Deluxe sample sizes. Or the occasional full size- and that does happen with IPSY. Such a treat. Glam bag breaks down to 50 cents a day- it is a nice treat usually and I am talking myself into not pausing again. Because I am worth 50 cents a day. 😂 Omgosh. Anyone else? Relate to this? Luv your channel, unboxings and content. Light and smiles always.

ipsy is a no for me. I can’t stand having a bunch of tiny samples when I could buy actual products. I agree with your assessments on the pricing of full size. ❤your bubbly personality and southern accent it’s so charming!

I would stop wasting your money! My daughter loves the eyescream box! They have some wild and fun stuff. This month the big one my daughter was over the moon about was the loose color shift chrome pigments.

There was product on the outside of that blush, so I'm sure it was broken and had just slid back together. When you opened and closed it, I'd say the pieces just slid back apart. The blush did work well as a highlight for you, though, so I'd say you should keep both. I agree with everyone else that the ipsy bags are usually disappointing anymore. If you bought one of the higher end boxes and stopped all three of the ipsy bags, you'd be saving money and may get products that work better for you.

I've always loved your ipsy showdowns! Even tho ipsy has let me down a lot lately, I can't seem to cancel my reg glam bag, like I got rid of my plus and x bags _a while_ ago. If they keep raising their prices without getting any better at their customization, I might have to consider it tho! 💜

For 13.50 a month, this actually is not bad. I’ve found 4 products that I absolutely love, and would never tried otherwise. It’s just a sample to see if you like it!😉
