Hi William, I just got back from my second cruise on MSC Seaside. This time I had the two bedroom grand suite all the way at the front of the ship. Spacious room for five is us with two full bathrooms as well, but I missed the view of the Aft suite. The forward rooms have virtually no view unless you stand along the rail on the balcony and even then, you need to be on the taller side.

@Talking Cruise - I know that this video is 5 years old and you were on deck 15, but I wonder if you can give us some advice about noise. We booked one of these cabins on deck 10 on the Seashore. Our cabin location is above the infinity pool and bar area. Just forward of that is the Uptown Lounge. Someone posted a video here saying that the music is very loud until 2:00 AM every morning and they hated it. Their cabin was on deck 13, we are 3 decks below that. Since the lounge is inside the interior I would think that the sound would somewhat muted, or is the noise from the Infinity Bar and Pool area? What is your take on this. BTW, great job on the video!
Hi J.W. Grayson, thanks for watching. I can't speak to the exact noise levels you might encounter, but I do know that lounge is quite lively into the early morning. The pool area should not be an issue.

Hi Svetlana, thanks for watching. 15257 onboard MSC Seashore should give you the same experience as far as views, but the decor and some of the room features will vary a little. One of my favorite room locations ever on MSC, enjoy!

Hi, I am considering booking this suite, but concerned by the possibility of sleep disturbance from staff setting up loungers early in the morning directly above, was that an issue for you at all?
Hi The Murrays, thanks for watching. We never encountered any noise from above when staying in room 15239. In fact, my family has been on MSC Seaside a total of three times in the past year in different suites and we all agree the aft room was our favorite. So much so, that we have 15239 booked again for next spring.

Hi MagicQueendom, thanks for watching. We never heard any noise from above in the early morning while in the room. There was a little nose from a deck party one evening, but that's it. Of the three different types of suites I've had onboard MSC Seaside, this was my favorite.
I looked at booking this ship, but 7.5 foot pools with no shallow end to stand in and relax is completely nuts.
Hi runman1271, thanks for watching. There is an area where you can lay in an inch or two of water on the sides of the South Beach Pool on Deck 7, but I agree a shallow end would be good for most people. On the positive side, most of the time the pools were not crowded, like on most ships were you can't move without touching someone. Not to mention those people that stand in the pool all day drinking without taking a "break". :-) Don't let the pools detract you from booking this ship, there are lots of hot tubs and the ship really offers an incredible experience. But book soon, I've been noticing that pricing (which has been unbelievably reasonable) is steadily rising for sailings through 2020.
New to MSC, what category would this suite fall under?
Hi Trinette, thanks for watching. These aft condo suites (as they are commonly referred to) are Category S3, but you need to pay attention to specific room numbers as S3 also refers to the suites on Deck 9. Those ones have the extra deep balconies, but In my opinion are just like regular balcony rooms otherwise. The S3 rooms located on the back of the ship are 9255, 9258, 10273, 10264, 11273, 11264, 12267, 12260, 13275, 13264, 14271, 14262, 15239, 15236
A hint to the price of such suite??
Hi Augusto, thanks for watching. Prices vary by sailing date, but as an example, low season (early Dec) pricing can be as low as $1,650 USD pp.

Hi don, thanks for watching. I don't disagree with you. While the suites on MSC Seaside are dull and drab compared to other lines, you cannot beat the price points for staying in these large accommodations or the perks that come with them.
I've seen more space in an RV.
