    I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers. This is so helpful for someone on a fixed income.

    Ondo make a carrot pasta. She uses long thin strips of carrot that she sautés in olive oil with slices of garlic, sometimes with a chili pepper (jalapeno will do fine), and then adds cooked spaghetti noodles and lets them fry for awhile. Basically what you made without making sauce. Try it for us?

    This was an awesome video! You are so creative the pancake bake looked amazing. I would love to see what you could come up with if you did this for a whole week. Maybe give yourself a budget of $21 and use basic pantry staples. I bet your meals would be fabulous.

      Or even 7x$1.50=$10.50, or $15 a week to increase the protein, fruits and vegetables. With her skills it would be a feast!

    What is the purpose of frying up or crisping up of the pasta noodles? Thanks!

    • @frugallydelicious
      @frugallydelicious  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Frying up/crisping up the pasta gives in a different texture/consistency. It makes it crispy/chewy. I'll compair it to the experience of say rolling up some beans in a corn tortillas and eating it without frying it after and then making another one but actually frying it. They are basically the same thing but the flavors and textures are different. I came across fried pasta online, tried it once, and fell in love with it. Also I like to fry mine up because I want to add some variety to my pasta experience. I hope this helped explain the purpose. Thanks!

    And, if you buy in bulk, like 25-50lb bags it’s possible to eat for less and include other foods like fruit although technically tomatoes are a fruit.
