    Hey garden friends, we noticed a couple images for Incrediball Hydrangea are incorrect. Incrediball Hydrangea has white flowers that begin to appear in mid-summer and open to enormous snowballs, nearly the size of basketballs! They then age to a lush jade green, which persists through frost. The images that show pink blooms in the video are Incrediball Blush. We apologize! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to

    I love a good hydranga, but I cannot grow one to save my life. These are beautiful.

      Have you tried a Panicle hydrangea?! They are by far the easiest to grow! Depending on your zone, of course. :)

    Hi Nikki hydrangeas are my favorite I have over 50 in my garden and just this week at the PW signature event I got 2 puffer fish hydrangeas. I can’t wait to receive them and get them in my garden.

    I’m obsessed with hydrangeas even though they’re a little difficult here in Texas. I have a couple. So far so good 🎉

      Ugh. I'm so sorry, garden friend. Have you tried a self-watering container?! We have inserts that fit most pots you may already have at home. They provide consistent moisture and are a HUGE time saver. Might be worth a shot! 💚

    Nicki: Little Quickfire can take full sun and give us hot humid zone 8 people pink blooms. Mine look stunning now. They are full sun and I have a hedge of them. Takes three years for them to settle in but it was worth the wait. I had Bobo’s there before and they browned so they are blooming beautifully in my backyard where they do not get all day sun. Loved my order you shipped out this week. Fills the late summer doldrums!

      @@Flowers4Everyone I live in zone 9A in California. I have 5 hydrangeas. All of them are panicles. I have them planted where they never get sun after 12:00 noon, but they get full sun starting at sunrise. They bloom profusely. They need at least 5-6 hours of sun to bloom. I still put up patio umbrellas over them and water them daily during our 100+ degree days. It doesn’t diminish their blooms. They’re 12 years old now. Maybe buy one and just try.

    I live hydrangeas. But I live in Texas. Where I want them gets full sun from 1:00pm until 6:pm. Is there one that will take afternoon sun?

    • @Provenwinnersdirect
      @Provenwinnersdirect  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Panicles are the way to go! They tolerate the most sun/heat. You'll likely have to water really well until they get established, but they are oh so worth it!

    I need one for extreme heat in zone 9B. Help?..

    • @Provenwinnersdirect
      @Provenwinnersdirect  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Our hydrangeas are hardy up to zone 8, but many gardeners have had success growing Panicles in zone 9. You'll want to plant it in an area that receives 4-6 hours of morning sun, and is shaded in the afternoon. You will have to water, water, water, in the extreme heat for the first season and maybe the second, until it gets established. It's not guaranteed but worth a shot if you are willing to try!

    Hey @proven winners direct. I purchased 2 little limelight’s and unfortunately after months of trying to make them happy they need less sun than the location I placed them in. When is the best time to transplant?
    They have been in the ground since early June.

    • @Provenwinnersdirect

      Hi Madison! What zone are you in?

    • @madisonmueller5733
      @madisonmueller5733 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi :) I’m in zone 7a in Utah!

    • @Provenwinnersdirect
      @Provenwinnersdirect  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@madisonmueller5733 I would wait until the weather has cooled, but you'll need about 6-8 weeks before the ground freezes for it to establish roots again after transplant. I would prune about 1/3 of the plant prior to moving, and be sure to water well after! In the spring, you'll want to give them time release fertilizer to put a little pep in their step. :) They may take a bit to bounce back, but they will. Panicles are tough as nails! Hope this helps!!
