What a true blessing to have discovered your channel today! Your videos are concise and extremely informative. As a philatelist myself (mostly FDCs), I, so far, only get to own the facsimile of the "1 Penny Black" on two 1940 first day covers: 1. A large enveloppe from the Royal Philatelic Society's Stamp Centenary Exhibition, with a special 6 May 1940 cancellation in red on the six-value stamp collection issued to commemorate the event. 2. The Burma's Centenary Commemoration of Great Britain's Penny Postage. A first day cover with a 6 MY 1940 cancellation (from Kalaw, Burma) on the One Anna Burma postage stamp surcharged "Commemoration Postage Stamp. 6th May 1940." Until I get more lucky in the future, I will hold on to these two! Thank you again for your very interesting channel, and cheers from Provence.
It must have caused quite a headache and there are examples showing that the sender would work in ways to send a message in other ways, including using coded messages on the envelope

That the RECEIVER of a letter once had to pay the postage has always struck me as thoroughly illogical. 🤔
