I honestly appreciate finding a video that actually explains this. When I looked up reviews everybody just kind of glossed over the fact that you can put your own music in the game. I didn't know that meant you put in your own CD! So thanks for being upfront with that. That's all I needed.
because CDs are meant to have 44100hz digital audio, which is about 1411kbps, whereas MP3s will never exceed 320kbps. And chances are your MP3 quality is even lower, at 256kbps.
@@Ribula1 the actual reason some apps do that is so when you go to burn the iso image into a blank disc it fills the disc correctly and it's more effective to read by the laser, so what the apps do is fill the empty part of the iso with "blank/trash" data (so in a 700mb disc that has 200mb of data you have around 500mb of blank data, resulting in a 700mb file)
I just recently switched from Xebra to Duckstation and had a bit of trouble getting this to work for some reason. Glad I found this tutorial since I got a working set of songs now. Thanks
IMPORTANT STEP FOR POWERISO: When you have PowerISO open, click the drop-down arrow next to new and select "Audio CD" Then follow the rest of the steps in the video! Otherwise you'll just get a disc with one track and no sound. Thanks for the guide :)
@@wondermittens1844 I'm doing exactly as the video says (adding the mp3 files to PowerISO), except I change it to Audio CD like you said. When i go to save, it says the file format is invalid or unsupported.
i did all of this (except i used imgburn and made my own .cue file) and when i go to change my disk and select my file, vibri says "checking" but then goes right back to "please insert a music CD" :/ any suggestions?
Hello, i just tried it with Imgburn because when i try to open PowerISO it says that it haves virus/malware and i don't know why. Do you know anything about that?

that didnt work for me unfortunately, whenever i try to load the cue file the game just says "checking" and then asks me immediantly for a disk again, any idea why?
i have the same issue. i don't know how to fix it. a tutorial i followed on the steam community says something about a corrupted bios if it doesn't work...
@@tealuvsyou i havent fixed the issue myself, but i think got closer, so a program like cdburnerxp can make a specific kind of audio cd that was used back during the 90s and 2000s, which is the only way to make cds for stuff like old cd players, and the ps1. i created a cue file with this thing, and as it turns out, it shows a tracklist in the cue file (which is what a cue file normally needs , and poweriso just doesnt have that tracklist in the cue files it creates), however, the thing cannot create bin files, only cue, so you would need to find a program that can create this specific kind of cd, that also lets you save the thing onto a bin AND cue file (this may sound confusing, and im sorry if it does, and most of the stuff i said is probably just me theorizing so take this with a grain of salt)

For some ungodly reason, powerISO is like "oh you have 200mb of audio files? here let me just turn that in to 1 GB bin file, thank me later"
