Desoto is about a 20-minute drive from Downtown Dallas. It's not far at all. Now that 35 South has been widened, the drive is much easier. In a few months, the 35 construction will be done and it will be wide open.
In this video, I show you guys the difference between buying a house in Desoto Tx, Vs. Plano Tx. Nothing wrong with Plano at all, but if you want to stretch your dollar, Desoto has awesome properties at great prices! Not that there is anything wrong with Plano, but you're going to spend a lot more money living north than you would be living south of Downtown.

How far is the GM plant from desoto?
not very far at all. with traffic 25 minutes. If you need to get there early in the am. Not a bad drive at all.
