@@DarknessYT2010 appreciate it mate. Great question. It's really hard to know who he was working for. Originally we thought it was Britain's secret Flying Saucer Working Party, which did have input from USAF and the CIA. But that was created in 1950 and we can't find any paper trail to Tom... yet. It's possible he was briefed into US legacy programs but I can't be sure. I do believe there is a second classified record of his that run's alongside his RAF history and into Woomera that could be a huge insight into breaking it open. The question is which agency has it. There are more than a few things that I didn't include in this video from his WW2 and cold war history, because I haven't been able to verify them yet, that point to Tom being potentially an intelligence operative.
Being a former RAAF pilot backing 1986 my self & wingman flew over Surfer's Paradise Beach about 530 pm on the 8th of September & heading south we wentback to our base @ Williamtown nsw we both saw a bright light off the horizon! We knew it wasn't another aircraft because it had no port or starboard lights ! It followed us horizontally then took off vertically! This was no plane! It freaked both of us out !!mind you we were both flying the French Lady the Mirage 3 the fastest fighter of the time !!!!!!
How the hell have i not heard this Aussie Hero, His military record is Second to None. His work after the War is equally Impressive, will have to get his Book and find out more about Tom. Thank you for this post you should be so proud of your grandfathers service. Would love to see a documentary on Tom a fascinating man.
@@frothy58 Thanks mate. I am very proud. He was a remarkable man with a fascinating history. His book is an RAF collectors item, so there may not be many copies around unfortunately. There were only so many copies published when he passed away. Unbelievably there is still more to his story to come!
what a fantastic story! Congrats on your work and please keep it up and keep posting. This is even more relevant after recent revelations in Washington about UAP activity. Have you tried contacting defence minister Marles to discover more about Tom? I have sent emails and letters to his office requesting information about our involvement currently on the topic but he never answers. You might have more luck. Go well...
Thanks mate. More to come. It's very relevant and reveals that Australia and the UK had more of role in what's going on with the US UFO hearings than people might suspect. I haven't reached out to Defence Minister Marles. Could you please email me his details at theufozzie@gmail.com and I'll have a crack. Thanks again.
So your grandfather was portrayed in the ABC - ‘Operation Buffalo’ … loosely that is. Fascinating. Likely, he saw ‘Foo Fighters’ when night flying during WW2. Yes, read the book ‘In Plain Sight’. Loved the quip about the ‘Min Min Lights’… reflection of truck lights off the atmosphere. Aboriginal elder… ‘… yeh, they’ve been doing that for thousands of years…’. Keep digging.
@@robertthomas3777 I haven’t actually seen it, but I’ll check it out. Given Tom did a lot of night flying during WW2, that would have been the best time to see Foo Fighters if any. The Min Min lights are an intriguing mystery in themselves. Aboriginal Elders reported high speed bright lights in the Maralinga area as well. I plan to dig deeper. Thanks for watching mate.
My Grandfather was also there at Maralinga during the atomic tests. To this day I still have no idea what his role was. He never talked about it. He tried to enlist in WW2 but they refused him due to being a required person (there is a correct term but I can't remember what it was). He is on the list of people who died as a direct result of being at the atomic tests that tried to get the British to admit that they were responsible.
Firstly I'm sorry for your loss. The British atomic tests were reckless and a dark chapter in Australian history. If you're interested in finding out more you can search the national archives for files related to him. If you don't find anything then submit a freedom of information request with National archives for his records. You can also submit a personal information request with the Defence department if you know what part of the military he was in. I wish you the best of luck and thanks for sharing. Our history is all connected.
Would be interesting to know from when to when Group Captain Dalton-Morgan served with the 8th USAAF over Germany and whether he got in touch with "UFOs - Foo Fighters", i.e. electrostatic unmanned air vehicles mostly operated from Autumn 1944 to Spring 1945 over certain areas in Germany, when Earth Space Charge is dry, with high electrostatic density for suspending such crafts in the air - electrostatic flying. And if he knew that after WW II there was, and still is, a Top Secret "Open Skies" Operation with unmanned EM Vehicles (in the East and West), and that over Woomera there could have been observed an unmanned, whether remote controlled or autonomous operating Soviet Electromagnetic Spy Drone (the Russians were and still are accredited in NATO countries, like the German "Militärmission", they have permission to fly surveillance missions, like the official "Open Skies" Operations). See "Lorentz Force", in the dome of an unmanned Russian circular air vehicle, 8 to 10 m in diameter are regularily spaced Infrared lights for emitting a cyclotron radioation in an E and B-field for steering and acceleration. The Russians could have captured German development of such EM crafts too after the war. And that Capt. Dalton-Morgan was part of certain investigation to find out, when and where the Sovierts/now Russians, flew - and still fly - unannounced spy missions over Western territory for searching and sniffing in low altitude, under 100 ft, nuclear radiation of clandestine nuclear depots and missiles hidden in civil infrastucture, the unaware public hasn´t the slightest clue. @@peterredhill6023 Hi Peter. Tom was with the 8th USAAF from the 16th of March 1944 - 30th of October 1944. Then headquarters of the 2nd Tactical Air Force as part of the British Air Forces of Occupation until the 1st of April 1946. I imagine he could have encountered UFOs and Foo Fighters during that period with the amount of flying he did during the War. Thank you for sharing. Very interesting information. I’m going to have to look into this more and come back to you. Cheers
